Alora looks at Fausto with a frown, she feels the pain that he feels. There is nothing she can do for him so she tries to console him. "Even if you tried to say something else to him, I'm almost positive that he would of continue to go about his own way. He seems like the kind of person that would try to cover their own ass. But now we are stuck with the matter at hand."
Rachel agrees, " Yes, what are you going to say to the cops about him? I don't think they will believe you with your story and your friend still technically missing." There is a stiff moment of silence between the three, Fausto looks over at Rachel then to Alora and then back to Rachel. He finally realizes, "What am I going to say to them?" A number of scenarios fly by head, from Fausto leaving him behind in the forest to even him murdering Paul and leaving him buried somewhere.
"I wasn't talking about that", says Alora. This shocks both Fausto and Rachel. She continues as she sits down on Fausto's crusty couch, "I meant the matter at hand is what the hell is truly going on in that forest?"
Fausto's eyes light up and Rachel says with disappointment, "Wait? You actually believe in that story?"
"I didn't say that, I just want to try to understand what Fausto is blabbing out. Also it is kind of interesting to me. An acceleration of time outside this very town, deep within the forest could be something as cool as rip in time! Or possibly, is it this town experiencing some sort of slow down? No that doesn't make sense", says Alora in excitement and in deep thought. This openly upsets Rachel and she tells Alora," Why would you think Fausto is telling a real story?! It sounds more like he got high on something with whatever-his-name is and got lost!"
"For 2 months, Rachel? I'm sure you know that Fausto is bad when it comes to providing himself. I mean you seen his apartment", she says as her hands motion around his apartment. "His daily diet probably consist of only beer and coffee", says Alora angrily. Fausto quickly cuts in, "Hey, that was mean! I eat normal people food."
"Either way, I really doubt this Idiot could survive for 2 months in a forest, I mean just look at him", says Alora. Fausto looks down at his shirt and then to his pants. He thinks to him, "what about me says something like that?" Alora continues, "So I can more easily believe he got lost in a forest for a single night than him being lost for 2 months."
"He wasn't by himself, he was with Paul", says Rachel. Alora rolls her eyes and tells her, "Have you seen how Paul looks, I mean the guy, he looks like a monkey. Not only did he look stupid but he also acted stupid." Fausto can help but to be offended on Paul's behalf but, he does kind of looks like a monkey. Rachel is left dumbfounded but she decides to agree that whoever befriends Fausto must be of a low caliber. "Ok, so realistically what could this thing be Alora?", asks Rachel.
"Honestly, I don't know what it can really be since I haven't seen it with my eyes but if I were going off my hunch it can really only be one thing."
"What's that?", asks Rachel.
Alora stands up from sitting down and paces around the room, trying to find the correct way of saying what is on her mind. But, the only real way of explaining is directly spilling it out.
"Magic."
"Magic!?", yell both Rachel and Fausto with confusion.
