As soon as she stepped on the stairs, she swayed a bit on her feet wondering if she was going to face-palm the solid ground any minute. The stairs had no support to hold on to and there was nothing but only bright light around them that showed the way.
It made her remember the bridge among clouds that she always created inside her head. Hellion was moving forward like a moth drawn to a flame and she had stopped and sat down to stabilize her dizzy head.
When she found herself ready to walk again, Hellion had disappeared. Panicking, she stood up and started climbing down the stairs faster in an attempt to catch up with him. The stairs were going down and down without ending and she was starting to believe that they had fallen into the haunted trap and now she will remain stuck and lost there forever.
"Lio?" She called him, compelled by the last tinge of hope inside her as she tried to look around.
