In the grim, war-torn future of humanity, a young girl named Lili witnesses the brutal fall of her world. When the Plague Demons of Lord Pesti´s descend upon her planet, the skies darken with a toxic green cloud, and soon, the infected rise—transformed into zombies with grotesque smiles and weeping eyes. As her parents become monstrous husks, Lili’s strength and resilience shine through, as she alone survives the chaos, guided by a mysterious, warm light that resides within her.
As the last bastion of humanity fights back, Lili is taken under the protection of a battle-hardened Sergeant and his squad of Imperial Guard soldiers. Together, they find refuge deep within the abandoned metro tunnels, surviving for years as the world above is consumed by the infection. But nothing can last forever. When the time comes to fight their way back to the surface, only Lili and the Sergeant remain. In a final act of bravery, the Sergeant sacrifices himself, giving Lili a grenade and a chance to survive—though she, too, is left at the brink of death.
But Lili is not gone. Her light, a beacon of life, keeps her soul tethered to the void, where she encounters the Sergeant’s soul, adrift in the darkness of space. In an impossible twist of fate, their bond is so strong that they are pulled through time and space, crashing into the year 1870—smack in the middle of the Franco-Prussian War.

Together they must now navigate this strange new world—an ancient conflict, a new identity, and the remnants of their previous lives all converging as they fight to survive once more.
