"Let's get you out of this contraption," he said as he stood up and pulled her up with him.
"If you call the maids back then they'll know you aren't sick," she protested.
"That's why I'm going to help you out of it," he said as if it was the most obvious answer.
Maria's eyes widened in shock at his boldness and she stood there in shock.
Arthur saw her expression and chuckled. "I've already undone your top most of the way, and I know you have a dress on underneath. You won't be more exposed than you are in your usual attire. I'll just unlace you the rest of the way and then you can do the rest by yourself over there," he said as he gestured towards the room divider.
"Oh," she said as she looked back at the divider. "Let me grab a dress."
While Claire and Lynne were scrubbing her clean, someone had brought up her luggage and hung all of her togas in the chest of drawers.
She grabbed a light blue toga and held it to her chest as she walked back over to Arthur.
