"It's magic darling!" Mrs Marleigh remarked, pointing the green star book. The writing of "Forever Together" wasn't there, it was again a blank page, but it was possible to believe that the book made Yonsan appear online
Without wasting any seconds, I put my finger onto the green phone icon next to Yonsan's name. His profile picture covered my phone screen and it was saying "calling..."
We not-so-patiently waited till he picked up the phone, "Hello?"
"Yonsan?" I responded.
"Yeah Karu it's me!"
"How are you doing? We got the book as you told us. And we got everything else. Tell me what do we do now?" I quickly asked many questions, feeling nervous.
"Calm down Karu. I am safe."
"It's great to hear that." I sighed in relief.
"There is only one way to open the portal." Yonsan cleared his throat, his voice lowered in tone when he added; "If you open a random page in the star book, and look from the mirror, it will show a map. When you see the map, you should think of the portal you want to open. Then I can come back."
Without leaving me a chance to reply, he hung up the phone.
"Alright, you heard him-" I couldn't continue to talk as I noticed the everyone was avoiding eye contact with me.
"The book is gone!" Seanyung disclosed as he threw his phone onto the table.
"What? How?" I perplexed putting my hand on my forehead.
"I don't know. Mrs Marleigh was telling me something about portals." Seanyung seemed as worried as I was.
"What about you guys? Did you see anything?" I asked, turning my face to Paikek and Bomyu who were sharing the yellow couch on the left side of the one I was sitting.
"I was on my phone with Paikek checking who created the group chat." Bomyu clarified, speaking in a low tone.
"Right!" Paikek confirmed.
"But how did the book got away?" I asked again.
"It's the Karuma Panda." Mrs Marleigh stood in from of the window watching the rain outside.
"That's..."
"Possible." She intervened while I was about to talk.
"We need to find it now." I suggested, tightened my fist as I got up.
"You don't need to find it." Mrs Marleigh talked slowly and then she continued: "It found you first."
"How?" I stepped closer, next to her, in front of the window. The one thing I noticed that there were so many shadows outside in the rain.
When I looked closer, a panda shadow seemed more distinctively behind the trees.
Immediately, I turned around, but once I rushed hastily, Mrs Marleigh grabbed my shoulder; "Stop!"
"You can not fight the Karuma Panda on your own with no fighting experience." She counselled as I stopped and sat back.
"She is right, Karu. The panda is just watching us for now." Seanyung patted my back.
Everything happened put me into a hopeless mood. The book was gone and there was nothing I can do, as all my friends stopped me from attacking the Karuma Panda that I saw outside the window. Then an idea came to my mind;
"What if Karuma Panda stole the book?"
"This is possible." Seanyung seemed to agree while Bomyu and Paikek nodded.
"That means we should go out and fight it right?"
"No Karu! It's gone." Mrs Marleight intervened, looking out the window.
"No way." I quickly grabbed my black jacket, opened the door and ran outside.
"Karu wait!" Paikek shouted from behind as he followed me with Bomyu and Seanyung, leaving the door open.
I stopped in the middle of the road, the weather was windy, the clouds were dark, it wasn't obvious whether it was day or night. After noticing shadows and strange movements behind the trees, I turned around and around.
"Karu! Watch out!" I heard Seanyung shouting from behind.
Something struck me severely from left, directly knocking me to the asphalt concrete ground. It made me roll over the road for several meters.
