"Remember my name." The ghost girl from the Komorebi Cafe appeared in a white dress, and her purple hair was flying by the wind carrying the autumn leaves.
"What do you mean? You never told me your name." I shouted again as the sound of the wind got louder when she stopped singing.
She giggled, her transparent body stepped towards me, causing me to hear the sirens of the subway train while the wind blew faster.
At that point, in my head, I remembered Yonsan saying "Find the green book... star book... before she... ghost.... finds... it...." when we made a connection with him at the swimming pool at the school.
"You stole the star book, right? You did it!" I hollered angrily as it started raining heavily.
"I haven't..." She smiled with her mouth closed and she disappeared in the pouring rain. Right after she disappeared, I heard her voice echoing in the air saying; "not yet."
After she disappeared, the rainfall even got heavier. Both my clothes and my hair were getting wet by the violent rain, I turned my back, seeing that Paikek, Seanyung and Bomyu were sitting on the sidewalk under a cherry tree.
"If she didn't steal it, where did the book go?" I thought out loud as I sat beside them.
"I think she lied." Bomyu made eye contact with me, speaking in a low tone.
"Bomyu is right. She is a ghost, she can go anywhere she wants." Paikek agreed with Bomyu.
"You might be right, guys." I smiled, and then I suggested; "Let's go home."
We got up and headed to our apartment under the rain, we were all soaking wet from our shoes to our hairs. Seanyung opened the door and he first got inside. Subsequently, Paikek and Bomyu entered the apartment. And I was entering the last.
"Karu! Karu!"
I turned my back before I close the door when I heard someone outside calling my name.
"Hey Karu! Want me to take you on a ride?" Sonya Soundstrong was leaning against her purple-black motorbike, holding her magenta helmet under her arm.
"Why not." A corner of my mouth curled up, looking into her green eyes.
