Scratches, bruises and claw marks were all over my body while I was on the asphalt road. The ground was cold and wet because of the rain. The sky was completely dark as the sunset had already passed.
"Are you okay?" Paikek smiled, offering me a hand, standing around me with Bomyu and Seanyung.
"Thanks Pai." I took his hand as he helped me to get up.
"You're welcome!" Paikek blinked while he grinned friendly.
"What attacked me?" I questioned, looking around to see if there was something behind the trees around the dark road.
"I don't know but I just saw a shadow behind you before you got knocked down." Seanyung explained.
"Where is it now?" Again I cautiously observed around.
While observing, the most significant thing that caught to my eye was the glimmering full moon on the top of the gloomy night sky. Both of the stars were on it's left side. The sky looked empty with only two stars but it was still beautiful.
"It's the full moon." Bomyu remarked in a low uncomfortable voice tone.
"We failed the promise." I realised once Bomyu reminded me of it.
We couldn't complete the mission we promised to accomplish. We couldn't find Yonsan till the full moon. We just failed.
"Is something supposed to happen?" I questioned as I didn't know what's the price for not keeping a magical promise.
"I don't know. I have always kept my promises until now." Paikek sounded like he was feeling extremely disappointed as he closed his eyes.
Suddenly, one of the stars began shining brighter in the sky. I put my hand over my face to block the intense light which was reaching to us from that star. It got brighter and brighter in seconds.
We watched it shine, but there was something strange. A couple of seconds later, the star winked as it flashed intermittently. Its light dimmed and shined at irregular intervals.
"It disappeared!" My mouth left open when I witnessed the star disappearing after the last flash.
