Zaiden was infuriated upon the sudden refusal of his master. The old man decided to teach emotional restraints to Zaiden. Since it was the dire skill he required to master, the boy was hot headed and after choosing fire element it was an addition to his personality. Zaiden's rage fuelled his chosen element which was definitely the most powerful among the reoccurring ones.
It already had been twice that he almost blew his cover, due to the demonic runes appearing frequently. Zaiden required to learn how to tame his emotions, since the mental aspect was inter-related to it. Master Michal wanted to teach him patience and serenity, Zaiden's short temperament was both a problem and a blessing.
He had multiple factors to derive his rage and to boost his emotions when required. The constant lingering thought of his father and the absence of his mother was the stimulus in the beginning. His emotions were unstable beforehand but the realization of the truth about his origin, served as the last push to his hatred that Zaiden was set on to battle against the whole bloodline.
However Master Michal couldn't let him expose himself, thus his training began from emotional skills. He delivered his message to the boy to leave, his intentions were to ensure that Zaiden could learn patience. The very next day Zaiden arrived at his doorsteps in the office hours, the boy didn't want to let this chance slide. After the demon's disappearance he only had one source of information about his element.
Zaiden broke his gemstone too which consisted of some basic stuff and techniques. Now he had to rely on master Michal who seemed to be taking advantage of his position and powers. Zaiden opened the door and barged inside the room, his footsteps halted immediately upon seeing a portal.
He looked around in the arcade to spot anyone but the empty corridor scared him. Curtis was also unable to comprehend what was happening. The room in front of them was an endless void with a far away vision which wasn't clear.
"Is this real? How is this even possible?"
Zaiden was amazed and there was practically no explanation of the sight which was in front him. Inside the void he could spot a city burning in soaring flames and the smoke accumulating in the sky. The picture in front of him started to fade gradually, and master Michal' voice snagged his attention.
"It's possible. The spell is related to mental sphere skill. You basically manipulate reality and create an illusion, enforcing the people's perceptions and visions around you."
Master Michal raised his hand in the air and the sight turned into a smoke. Zaiden realized that he was standing on the doorsteps of the office cabin all along.
"Manipulating reality?"
It wasn't something which was possible to do with literal vision of a person. Zaiden had encountered every malicious intention in the human realm. He was practically skilled in manipulation and negotiation, to the extent of being on par with an adult.
Master Michal deliberately showed him a demonstration of what wonderful feats he could perform. He wanted Zaiden to submit to his will just to learn patience and cooperation.
'This should be enough to trick him and to force him to change his attitude towards others.'
The old man already predicted that Zaiden had never 'functioned' under anyone's command.
And in order to master the basic three principles he needed to submit to him. Moreover Zaiden was aware beforehand from the classes he attended back in the first academy…that the vampire realm had no professor of O negative blood group. The noble bloods available were staying low key and no one would risk their lives and identity just to invest in him.
"What do I need to do for you to teach me that?"
Zaiden didn't waste any moment to voice out his 'request' within the commanding tone. However Michal didn't like his habit of omitting the prefix, but upon seeing how amazed he was with the little trick he let him be.
"That's the spirit. Now go to the front lawn and wait for me."
Zaiden raised his eyebrow in suspicion but nonetheless he followed his command. Whereas Curtis was infuriated upon Michal for disrespecting Zaiden' time. But on the other hand he was elated that Zaiden was finally getting tamed by someone.
