Mr Michal was clearly infuriated upon their audacity to disobey. The insides of the academy was built with the counter qi flow to regulate the energy. The bright light Zaiden saw beneath the ground was the counter for vampiric spells.
The demon knew about the energy suppression within the premises, that's why upon his instructions training outside was the best option. Zaiden could reach his core easily and the demonic spells would prove to be destructive outside.
However Zaiden was unaware of it and proceeded as he was told. Mr Michal shifted his crimson angry orbs towards Zaiden and then Ellen. Zaiden couldn't recover from the sight of him blowing the spell into the air so easily.
He acknowledged that vampires were powerful and had some dignified traits. But after arriving in the vampire realm he felt the hunger to have the power. Zaiden recovered from the shock of his identity with the backing of one thought, that his element was one rare and significant benefit. And it belonged to the mixed blood noble class, they found the secret to breaking the power levels.
Reproducing heirs with humans was the secret, but the blessing was solely effective for noble bloods. The rest vampires attempted the experiment on the cost of their lives. Zaiden was the only child protected and raised in the human world, because he was the heirloom of his family.
The cure he had been looking for which resulted in a killing spree was all along in his hands. His own blood infected with the darkness and the amount of demonic qi infused within was the cure!

The demon's information didn't add any answer to Zaiden' questions. He became curious how far a vampire's power level could reach. Mr Michal effortlessly eradicated his spell without a flinch.
"We....I'm sorry, master."
Ellen apologized while trembling, Zaiden followed her lead and bowed his head. Her reaction to the so-called scolding was due to the obvious circumstances they both were supposed to encounter now. The old man inspected Zaiden keenly.
"What's your name?"
His suspicion grew when Zaiden replied. Ellen hoped that somehow the old man would shift his focus on Zaiden, so she could sneak away.
"Who taught you both that spell?"
Ellen stole the artifact from the library's forbidden section, when she worked voluntarily. The scrolls were kept hidden for the researchers, so they could find a way to break limits to one's powers. Whereas Zaiden's knowledge came from the demon. He had no excuse or lie to satiate Mr Michal' curiosity.
"As far as I'm concerned Xandaya is the weakest kingdom in that regard."
The old man's expressions turned darker upon witnessing the burnt grass around Zaiden's feet. He knew what it meant and the obvious cause of it disturbed him.
"I...I apologise, master. I memorized the spell from the library."
The excuse was a sole guess in the dark, since Zaiden couldn't come up with a logical explanation of knowing the spell.
"Go back to the academy, your punishment will be implemented soon."
His rumbling voice forced both of them to hurry. Mr Michal planned to test the abilities of Zaiden to make sure his hunch was false.
Undoubtedly having an O negative child with chaos element was a threat to them. On the other hand Zaiden heard a sound in his head, and the notification popped up while they rushed towards the premises.
