'What is this blood clover now?'
Zaiden was immersed in self questioning while running towards the academy. Ellen was among the best students, having a personal trainer she was skilled. She activated her transformation spell and her body dissipated into a black smoke.
On the other hand Zaiden had to run on foot, his ignorance made him annoyed. The four kingdoms of vampires were always in the tussle with each other. Their history was gloriously written with the achievements. The battles with the humans, goblins, celestial beings and whatnot.
The neighbouring realms of vampire kingdoms were powerful in terms of strength. Thus the vampires were under the constant threat of invasion from every side. Every kingdom of vampire was linked to another mythical race, the connection between the realms was guarded with a thin membrane type wall.
Mr Michal began to suspect Zaiden and to check his abilities he had prepared special punishment for both of them. Zaiden had initiated the spell by manipulating his blood, the red light he saw in his mind was the crack in his subconsciousness.
The spell was poorly casted which resulted in the particular outcome. Mr Michal could sense the execution of the spell, but what he couldn't understand was the black smoke. Zaiden's O negative blood was fused with the demon's darkness which resulted in the unstable prowess.
'This kid isn't simple as he appears to be. The spell was forbidden and never had been accessible to anyone.'
The master wondered as he crouched down to inspect the burnt grass. It still gave a faint smoke after burning and the whole circle created had a pattern within it. Mr Michal stepped back imminently after recognizing the demonic rune.
'This is...impossible!'
Demonic runes belonged to the ancient family, the lineage of the progenitor which went in the seclusion. They could only be used by the O negatives, since their bodies were capable of mastering the demonic arts.
As soon as the old man stepped back the blackened burnt grass began to move, small sprouts popped up. And within seconds the whole black circle vanished, and the area turned green.
The old man narrated the whole scene to the faculty while hiding certain things. Mr Michal had been hiding his identity by switching blood groups, belonging to the O positive bloodline he acknowledged that Zaiden was a hope.
The very next day Ellen and Zaiden were called at the exit of the academy. Zaiden shared everything with Curtis, who had been leisurely wandering across the academy. The rumour about the traitor was still going on, but upon finding no clue things had cooled down.
"Did nobody tell you to be punctual? Are you two brats purposely annoying me?"
Mr Michal yelled with his crimson orbs fixed on Zaiden. Ellen noticed the special attention towards him, which pricked her senses. They both apologized. Zaiden sensed his keen interest in him.
"Get ready for the task. The punishment is doubled considering that I have to teach you two how to value the time."
Ellen gulped acknowledging that the consequences would not be merciful. Whereas Zaiden looked at Curtis who decided to put aside his grudges with his young master. Zaiden blamed the demon for his current situation.
{How it is my fault, uh? Remember I feed on evil?}
The boy realized that his arrogance and the desire to win was also evil. Zaiden was now stuck with the only option to suffer the punishment. On the other hand Mr Michal ordered them to follow him.
Ellen activated her transformation spell and trailed behind him. Zaiden had no clue again what to do, thus he preferred to run. The old man realized it and halted, numerous small bats accumulated in front of Zaiden.
"Why are you stupidly running like those vulnerable humans?"
Zaiden felt humiliated and the fact that his half human self felt infuriated over the mock. His blood core experienced a jerk and Zaiden felt a sharp pain in his chest which spread across his body. Mr Michal grinned and resumed his flight towards the destination, the valley of qi.
He already examined that Ellen and Zaiden, both of them had excelled all the other recruits by visible attunement stats. Thus he skipped all the normal spell learning chapters, and brought to both of them to face the real challenge.
