Zaiden and Curtis ran throughout the forest and ended up outside of the vicinity, the boy had been panting heavily upon the run.
'Master, are you alright?"
Curtis stole a glance from him and sensed Zaiden becoming pale, the boy tried to catch his breath by putting his hands on the knees.
'What is happening to me? Why do I feel dehydrated and famished?'
Zaiden mumbled to himself, confused over the hunch that his sudden attraction towards the blood of the royal guard was not normal.
"Young master?"
The bodyguard called out again but before Zaiden could respond the kid fainted on the ground. The new situation made Curtis panicked because he was helpless and could not even pick him up.
'Fuck! I have to pull him out of here.'
Curtis didn't have any physical form, and could not possess Zaiden. The bodyguard was helpless and floated around to spot any human or even a vampire.
'No, no. I have to take him away before those assassins approach us.'
He floated into the forest again when Curtis saw a python. In normal circumstances he would have killed it, but in that moment the reptile was his only hope. Curtis gulped and went inside its body.
After a while back in the kingdom people were taken aback by the sight, the chatter began to occur and the word of unusual-ness spread across the commoners. Curtis coiled the python's tail a round Zaiden's body. And carried him to the entrance of the kingdom and exited the body of the snake on some distance.
"Back off, you fools!"
An old man pierced the crowd while he stepped forward with his yelling, every vampire in the kingdom underwent through every age. The vampire realm was no different from Zaiden's world, except that people there possessed supernatural powers.
"Oh my goodness!"
The old man seemed to hold immense knowledge about vampires, he scurried towards Zaiden and inspected him. Valos closed his eyes and muttered some spell which caused a smoke and he vanished along with Zaiden.
Curtis somehow managed to follow the portal inside the smoke and followed them. The three of them appeared inside an enormous room. Valos tapped his staff on the ground and the snake head of it shone bright, Zaiden's unconscious body was put on the bed nearby.
'What is this place? And why this man is interested in master?'
The bodyguard skimmed around the room which seemed sort of an ancient library. A few beakers, flasks of potions and a huge rack of books was all one could spot immediately.
'Is he some sort of wizard? Don't tell me he will experiment of master Zaiden!'
Curtis became worried but in worst case he could simply possess Valos. On the other hand Valos had his own thoughts and worries regarding the boy, who could tame snakes at his own will.
"Who is he? And how did he survive from Lyre's clutches?"
Valos himself belonged to certain vampire class who had been blessed by progenitor, they had mastery in different kinds of spells. All of that particular class belonged to O positive and negative blood groups.
'We could hardly breed among our own kind, and the king eradicated everyone.'
Valos hoped for the good on the basis of his assumptions.
'I don't care if our noble class exists anymore or not, but if this boy is one of us...the we are saved!'
Noble blessed vampires by the progenitor were true nobles with supremacy in status and power. The non existent beings were capable of pulling out indescribable feats, including to execute all the other vampires.
Valos nearly cried recalling how the nobles were once powerful and the rulers of vampire realm, they had maintained peace with other kinds. But mixblood leeches like Lyre who didn't have any powers but knew how to put their slyness into use....he gathered some commoners and sneakily managed to corrupt the nobles.
After he seized the throne Class A, B, and commoners began to doubt the powers of Nobles. The people whom they worshipped were nothing, since they killed each other and the survivors were burnt alive with the magic prepared potions.
Lyre Theon, belonging to commoner class acknowledged that the remaining families of the nobles were a threat. Thus he stripped them off their powers just like Valos, who was reduced to being a potioneer now.
'Why is this wizard crying now?'
Curtis had no clue what Valos had been going through, but one thing was certain Valos grew a protective instinct towards the boy.
"It doesn't matter who you are and from where did you come, but I will protect and train you since you can save this kingdom now."
He raked through Zaiden's hair and smiled. Although Lyre was a sneaky man yet he was a complete coward, and required others to protect him. But with his army and magic extractions he was unstoppable.
Then why didn't that man saved him in the forest? It was a good opportunity to let him pay for his uncountable sins.
Valos stood up from the bed and brought a potion, he poured the medicine in Zaiden's mouth. Whereas Curtis stood there dumbfounded, the situation had gotten worst now.
'Wait, we are supposed to destroy this realm. What nonsense this man is spouting?'
If Zaiden became the hope of the people, they both will fail their mission. But will the young boy agree to cost millions of lives just for his mission?
"You are our only hope, kid. Because you hold the power to kill that bastard."
