They reached the entrance of the Solarian kingdom and Zaiden could already conclude the differences. The Solarian kingdom was occupied with all the classes equally, it was basically the utopian dream.
The sand carpet floated towards an enormous building which had low fences, and a lush green ground as the ingress. Zaiden carefully inspected the blocks which were spread inside the fence.
The magical sand slowly dissipated and they all set their feet on the ground. Zaiden and Curtis were now inside the academy's premises, the atmosphere was totally different from Xandaya's backwardness.
"Go to your dorms and don't show me your faces until you are called upon to hear the verdict."
The old man rebuked the trio as the kids scurried away with disappointed faces. Zaiden was certain that they held grudges against him for hurting Marco. The master caressed his beard and glanced at Zaiden with a suspicious gaze.
The boy's speculations had assured him that his situation was better now. In comparison to Xandaya, Solaria was advanced in terms of living standards and policies. Zaiden didn't feel he was in vampire realm instead everything felt similar to human world.
"What's your name, kid?"
The master was filled in with a vague information about the new disciple, that he belonged to kingdom Xandaya and was thirteen years old boy. Coincidentally the criterion matched Zaiden and he was present in the right spot.
"Zaiden. Zaiden Rivers."
The man nodded and handed over a badge to him, while Curtis tagged along. Only the noble bloods could sense the presence of ghosts and other celestial beings. Thus, the master didn't feel the ghost partner with Zaiden.
"Take this badge and go the library to pick up the books and scrolls."
The master instructed and gestured towards the block, which had a huge shiny board on the entrance. Zaiden nodded and headed towards the block, kids of different ages were practicing martial arts and meditating around him.
"Are we seizing this opportunity, master?"
Curtis was still stuck with the thought of system's features, which appeared to be vague and dangerous. Zaiden entered the building and a vampire greeted him with a cold stare to see his badge.
"We don't have any other choice. I don't want to spend nights outside the kingdom and be a food to these beasts."
Although Zaiden was aware that he would be in trouble if the deserving kid showed up. Nonetheless, he strode inside the library with keen eyes. Huge racks appeared in his sight with the librarian walking in a tow.
"May I help you to pick the first semester's coursework?"
The lean man in his thirties offered to Zaiden, when he felt a pleasant smell pricking his smelling senses. The librarian was a human serving the vampires, hunger overwhelmed Zaiden and he took a step closer to him.
The notification popped up instantly, whereas Curtis couldn't feel anything. He was devoid of hunger and a few senses which couldn't help a ghost in any way.
[Tame the hunger. Unlock a privilege.]
The student standing behind him blew dust over a book, causing Zaiden sneeze which suppressed his hunger by clouding the smelling sense.
'Damn, these enhanced senses are killing me.'
During the past events his two senses had increased visibly, hearing and smelling had benefitted him. The librarian questioned him again, and Zaiden came back to his senses.
"Oh, yes. Apart from that I want a history and geography book too."
Zaiden' arrogant demanding manner pricked the librarian but he forced a smile. He nodded and went away, while Zaiden took a stroll towards the window.
Curtis seemed upset at the demand, he saw the flicker of evil in his eyes. The butler had already figured out that the new traits of Zaiden' body changing were similar to vampires.
But he didn't want to spout the words to distress the boy. On the other hand Zaiden was aware of his new change but blamed the serum he had used. The boy was still in denial that he had turned into one of the beasts, he used to hate and intend to destroy.
The librarian arrived with a few books in the basket. Zaiden took his stuff and walked towards a table to look for the information. Because to destroy and weaken your enemy one needs to know their foes.
Zaiden opened the book and read the history of vampire realm to know his whereabouts. The vampire realm was divided into four kingdoms on each side of the atlas. Every kingdom had its strengths and weaknesses, having a blood core as power source to all the vampires of that particular kingdom.
Zaiden was currently in the second strongest kingdom named Solaria, the land of warriors and powerful masters. Xandaya was the weakest kingdom on the verge of crumbling, if it were not their blood core blessed by the progenitor.
"Interesting. So, that's why the kingdom is still holding up."
Xandaya's core was sealed when the progenitor disappeared, vampires grew weaker and were reduced to use enhancing pills.
'Mhm, so I have to break the seal and destroy the core.'
Zaiden had already figured out everything but the task was not easy to fulfil. He required the solution to break the seal and then to destroy the blood core. Curtis floated outside the library by penetrating the walls to take a stroll.
