Finally, for the first time since he started to talk with her (Or much better, taking the lead in the conversation since the woman ignored him the whole time), the woman faced him, front to front and Ryan could see the woman's whole appearance.
Well, not technically since the woman is wearing a veil that conceals half of her face, Ryan couldn't take off his eyes from the woman's unique crimson-lilac eyes.
Her eyes glinted like a sparkling diamond, and it emits a cold aura that could make you frozen on the spot when looking directly into her eyes.
'Oh my God! Even though only her eyes can be seen, I imagine an ethereal being descended upon in front of me! I don't know why but I think my cheeks are flustered because of her presence alone!'
Ryan thought as the woman finally faced him with crossed arms as the black hooded woman began to speak.
"The mission. What do you think?"
The black hooded woman asked Ryan, and he couldn't process what the woman was saying as he looked at her with a perplexed expression.
The woman chuckled once more and raised an eyebrow as she tilts her head while waiting for Ryan's response.
'Ah? Did she say something? Is she… asking me about the mission? But why?'
Ryan thought as he looked at the mission board once more and as his wonder within those mission leaflets that were posted, he noticed a certain mission that was near at the black hooded woman and frowns at the vague description of the said mission.
As his thoughts wonder, Ryan snapped from thinking deeper as he could feel the cold piercing gaze coming from this black hooded woman and after that, he compose himself as he thinks carefully on how to respond to the woman's questions from earlier.
"Ah… A-actually, I-I don't know. Well, the information about this mission stated looks okay but at the same time, ah… er… It feels like something is off? I don't know but that's how it feels. The information seems too vague to comprehend it."
Ryan was stuttering at his own words as he couldn't construct his sentence properly, unlike what he is doing earlier when he first approach this woman.
'More like pestering, you say.' – He thought, and he felt even more embarrassed in front of her, and that didn't make sense.
'Okay, why the heck am I stuttering like a shy maiden here?! I am confident earlier when I approach her and now that she is talking to me and asking me face to face and now what?!'
While Ryan is lost in his own thoughts, the black hooded woman only looked at him, and Ryan failed to notice the cold glint in her eyes as the woman gazes at him.
However, that only took seconds before the woman masked her own eyes and went to her indifferent and calm eyes like how others perceive her.
And as always, the woman just ignore Ryan like how she had done earlier and then looked back at the mission board and she took the leaflet that she is looking through the whole time.
Before she could take this mission, she asked Ryan for his opinion as a test for him and after he explained himself while lacking some confidence that he had earlier when Ryan approach her, the woman was pleased by Ryan's answer.
His thoughts were the same as hers when she stumbled upon this mission leaflet that left her some impression about its vague description, and she wants further information on the said mission.
Not only that but what caught her attention about the mission rank of this leaflet that she took out is undetermined.
She frowns as she thought of something but right now, that would be on a later date.
She left the man behind and went over to the reception area without calling him out and she approach one of the receptionists presents.
At that time, Ryan noticed that the black hooded woman left him behind as the said woman went over to the reception area and Ryan immediately followed after her since he would accompany this woman.
In the reception area, there are three receptionists that were supposed to be present but as of this moment, only one receptionist remained and when the current receptionist saw the black hooded woman in front, holding a leaflet from a mission board.
The receptionist smiled at her upon recognizing the black hooded woman.
"Going for another job mission, are we? You just got back from the other mission this morning."
The current receptionist present is a woman, with short rose-colored hair and chestnut eyes smiling at the black hooded woman in front of her.
The black hooded woman laid out the leaflet that she took on the mission board.
"Further information about this mission."
The black hooded woman's monotone voice that the receptionist woman is quite used to it, and she left one of the bookshelves that she's organizing as she went over and saw the leaflet that was laid over at the reception table.
Upon checking the leaflet, she frowns as she noticed the rank status [undetermined] that makes her perplexed at the moment and then she took the leaflet and read it carefully.
After she carefully read the mission leaflet, the receptionist woman had a serious expression on her face as she looked at the black hooded woman.
The black hooded woman just nodded as if reading the receptionist's line of thoughts and the receptionist could only sigh because she knew what that means.
"This mission leaflet is about the situation in Fordel Village. Wait a moment. I remember there is an archive about this mission when I'm reorganizing in the bookshelves from here. Let me just it out for you, okay?"
She said and the black hooded woman just nods at her.
When the receptionist was about to leave and go inside to looked for the details of the mission leaflet on hand, she noticed that there is another person behind the black hooded woman, and this is the first time that the receptionist saw someone unfamiliar in this guild.
"Excuse me, may I know this gentleman's name?"
