Ryan admitted that he is indeed an idiot for not recognizing such an important figure.
After she said those words, Kira noticed how Ryan is a bit uncomfortable right now, and she knew that some of the adventurers here are looking at him as if he is a prey and Kira felt pity for the said man, so she diverts the topic and away from these people's watchful eyes.
"Since you're new here, do you want me to take you on a tour in the Capital city? I happened to hear the conversation you had with Scarlette that both of you would set out tomorrow morning. You should pack some supplies for the journey then."
Kira said as she lends a helping hand to the young gentleman.
Now that Kira mentioned it, Ryan seems to catch on to some of Scarlette's words earlier but because of the shock about the Scarlette's identity, Ryan almost forgot about it, if it weren't for Kira to remind him about it.
'Well, is that even a conversation? I don't even understand anything other than that I need to be at the Central Plaza tomorrow morning but then again, will this be alright?'
Ryan thought as he sighed because he never expected that Scarlette Overland would choose him to be her first-ever companion.
He accepts Kira's help and both of them leave the guild and after they were left, the remaining adventurers inside who happens to witness the most shocking event in their lives, began to gossip with one another because of today's event.
Unbeknownst to them, this event would be a turning point of the people involved in this event and who knows what could have happened then….

"Thank you for helping me out for finding some supplies, Kira."
Ryan said as he thanked the woman for accompanying him back and forth at the market to buy some supplies that he would need in the journey for tomorrow.
"No big deal, Ryan. It's an honor to assist you since you're handpicked by Scarlette as her companion. You have no idea that were all jealous of you, bro!"
Kira said in excitement while Ryan just laughed nervously as he thought; 'I don't even know why Scarlette chose me to be her companion instead! Although as Kira mentioned, it's an honor to work alongside with someone as famous as Scarlette Overland but I didn't expect to be this fast though.'
Aside from that, Ryan managed to get along with Kira that much, although his initial impression of the woman isn't that good because of her habits of being physically touchy but as Ryan observes, Kira Stone was just like that.
As both of them get along while Kira accompanied him throughout the city, Ryan learned that Kira is an A-Rank adventurer as she presented her Gray Identification Card to him, and he also showed his card as well.
"Wow! I didn't mean to say this but you're just an E-Rank and yet, you managed to catch Scarlette's attention and was acknowledged by her! I applaud you for that, bro!"
Kira said in a carefree manner and Ryan knew that this woman is not the feminine type at all as she acts like a man the way she behaves and conduct herself.
'Unlike Scarlette that had a mysterious and dangerous yet feminine aura that surrounds her that makes you can't take off your eyes on her… W-wait a damn minute?! W-what—?! Did I just think her that way?!'
Ryan felt flustered all of the sudden at the mere thought of him thinking about Scarlette Overland like that.
Kira, on the other hand, noticed Ryan's flustered cheeks in red and she frowns as she looked at him and after that, she raised an eyebrow at him with a teasing smile.
"Are you okay, bro? ~~~ Your face is red right now. Are you thinking of something naughty out there? ~~~"
Kira asked in a teasing manner as she poke the young gentleman's side that makes Ryan squeak in a surprised manner, and he just noticed that Kira is looking at him with an amused glint on her eyes and that makes Ryan shook off his head immediately.
"N-no! I-I'm fine! I-it's just… you know I'm just nervous for tomorrow's journey, haha!"
It might sound defensive, but Ryan tried to maintain his composure and just put on an awkward smile while throwing away those irrelevant thoughts that he keeps on thinking about Scarlette.
Kira, on the other hand, had a feeling that she knew why Ryan is in such a flustered state and the woman didn't bother to continue teasing the young gentleman and she could only laugh mentally because of his embarrassing moments.
'Geez! I have seen these kinds of expression from other men whenever the topic is all about Scarlette Overland. Who wouldn't be flustered when thinking about that woman though.'
Even her, Kira admired Scarlette, and she is also one of her admirers out there and Kira believes that she is not the only woman who have feelings for the mysterious Scarlette Overland.
She sighed as she shook off her head to set aside those thoughts for now and then placed her arms around Ryan's shoulder to comfort him.
"Don't worry about it, bro. That's only natural for you to think about Scarlette like that. You're not the only person who would have those kinds of thoughts and believe me when I say that I'm also the same."
After she said those words, Ryan snapped from his thoughts and looked at the woman with a scandalized expression on his face and Kira knew what Ryan was thinking about.
She sighed once more and said; "Just forget what I said. Let's get going then."
After that, Kira pulled Ryan over to any stalls around them and from that moment, Ryan seems to forget what Kira said earlier as the two of them are now in a bustling street within the market.
Now that he thought about it, Kira is a local citizen in this land, and he wants to know more about Scarlette Overland as he didn't want to rely on the stories about her and it looks like Kira knew Scarlette that much.
"Kira, could you tell me more about Scarlette Overland? I don't want to rely on the stories that I have heard about her and since I would accompany her then, it would be better to know a thing or two about her then."
