Behind us, the doors closed.
The room had a nothing much except for the writings on the walls and a stone which had the prophecy. "This, my warriors, is the final room. This is where you will know all details about Raptor and King Jalaar. You will attain the Prophecy of The King!" The Temple of Past announced.
We scanned the walls filled with details. Amanda led the way from the left side. She translated, "It says King Jalaar was sealed at Mount Hysuptris. It is located between Saggron town and Kitlus town. The Mount has a huge peak where the King and the army fought the strongest warriors of Darknor. They killed the Darknorians. The Magic Master had sealed them on Mount Hysuptris and they melted into the ground." Receiving the information was relieving after such a long way. "Only magic can bring them back." Amanda said, immediately realizing the meaning.
Raptor would use his magic to awaken King Jalaar! "Raptor – as he had escaped – was taken into the Forbidden Dungeon of Saggron town as it was the nearest safe area. Hundreds fought Raptor and together, they sealed him into the dungeon. The magic chains were one of the Magic Master's creations before he died." Amanda read.
By that time, we had reached the end of the wall of the right side as well. "So we need to get to Mount Hysuptris before Raptor, defend against the giant army, and assuming we can survive, win. Piece of cake!" Oliver said, his sarcasm clearly shown. We made our way to the main area. The stone had something written on it. The prophecy was carved into the stone and it seemed to be in the Xorain language. Great! Another alien language to code down.
Amanda read and translated,
"Ice and Fire work together,
The Blade's fate lies with the Thunder.
Death will come to the Mean,
With that, the ancient boon shall be seen.
One has to make Sacrifices,
On the Night of Xorains, The King rises!"
We all were dumbfound and totally silent. I tried to analyze the Prophecy to see if it made any sense. It didn't. "Ok, I understood the last line. There would be something known as Night Of Xorains when King Jalaar is destined to rise." Oliver assumed. "But we don't know the date. We have no idea about it." I said. Lily was chanting the prophecy over and over again, memorizing it for future use.
"I didn't know that ice, fire and thunder have a use in our fight." I said which I almost regretted saying immediately because Lily's next statement was, "It is used to symbolize something else, idiot." "The Prophecy of The King signifies your journey ahead so do not take it lightly. It was nice talking." The Temple of Past said politely. The next moment, we fell into the ground and were thrown out.
