Jediah
Today is the day i would be starting apprenticeship. I just felt that there's something telling me to learn the art of blacksmith. I have handled a sword when i used to be prince but i never thought of making one.
I woke this morning feeling refreshed and ready to learn.
I went into the bathroom to take a shower. I came out with a towel wrapped around my waist and another one drying my hair.
I went into the little walk in closet to get dressed. I picked a white shirt and black pants. I combed my hair with my hands and got ready to head down for breakfast.
On getting down i saw Maggie serving breakfast.
"Good morning." I greeted her smiling.
"Morning and guess who's here." She asked winking at me.
I began guessing but i couldn't figure it out.
Before i could say jack, Kim walked out of the kitchen holding a plate of pancakes.
I was so shocked and surprised and to be honest i really loved the surprise.
"Good morning Jediah." Kim greeted me dropping the pancakes on the table.
"Good...good morning." I stuttered still surprised on seeing her.
Just then Gary walked walked in and we all greeted him.
"Good morning dear."
"Good morning uncle."
"Good morning dad." He was about responding when he heard the 'dad' part. He was so shocked. Kim and Maggie were not left out of the shock.
I've been meaning to call them my parents for some time now but i was waiting for the right time. I wasn't planning on telling them today but i guess it slipped out of my tongue.
"What about me?" Maggie asked pouting like a little child which amuses me.
"Mom." I also called her to which she responded happily.
They also persuaded Kim to call them Mom and Dad but she refused due to some reason i guess.
We all sat down to enjoy the breakfast which i guess was made by Kim. She's full of many wonders. She's just like a puzzle.
I began staring at her intently. I was so mesmerized by her beauty. Her cherry lips that is so kissable and her hair. I would definitely want to intertwine her hair around my fingers.
It seems like she noticed me staring and then she to look at her. I could see that her cheeks were burning crimson due to my burning. We locked eyes for God knows how long till Garry interrupted the moment.
We continued eating till we heard a knock on the door.
"I'll get it." Kim said standing up to go get the door.
I saw her rooted to the door shocked and i began wondering who she saw that made her shocked.
Maggie also stood up to go check who was at the door.
She also had a shocked expression as Kim but she quickly covered it with a smile and asked the person to come in.
On seeing the person i was also surprised. I turned to look at Kim who had an irritated expression on her face.
The lady greeted me but didn't greet Gary. He coughed to gain her attention which she responded.
"Hello Annabelle." He responded to her greeting.
"Let's continue eating." Maggie placed a plate in front of the uninvited guest and served her some pancakes.
I was so irritated seeing her and was also annoyed because she ruined our breakfast.
I quickly finished my food and stood up to leave for work.
I kissed Gary and Maggie goodbye but when i got to Kim i didn't know what to do so i gave her a high five which was so akward. I quickly turned around and left.
I haven't even gone far when i heard my name from a familiar voice but pretended not to. I was planning on not to answer but she kept yelling my name like a mad person.
I stopped and turned around to answer her.
"Can i help you miss?" I asked her feeling so irritated.
"I'm Annabelle...we've met before...urr...urr..." She was stuttering so much.
"If you have nothing to say I'll be on my way then." I said coldly to her and left.
I began on my journey to work so happily until my mood was spoilt when i saw a poster of the two people i hated most in life.
