Ezra smiled as he opened the box. The Dolce&Gabbana long satin dress with draping was absolutely perfect. Jennifer had helped him choose it as a way to say thank you for what he did for her. She also picked out a stunning pair of black Louboutin heels. He called the driver to pick them up and bring them to the airport to have on the jet for when it picked her up. He couldn't wait.

"Ma'am, I can assure you, Ezra have me specific instructions to take you to the airport to meet him in New York." Andrew was becoming frustrated.
"He never mentioned it to me. I don't want I impose, you know?" She said, throwing some clothes into a bag. She had very little to wear and wasn't sure what was even going on.
"Just bring the necessities." Andrew said with a sigh.
"Things that are necessary for what? I don't even know what I'm doing or where I'm going!" Billie said.
"She doesn't like surprises. Noted." Andrew said under his breath.
"I can hear you." Billie said as she walked by him and down the stairs. "Well? Let's go then!" She shouted. Andrew shook his head and followed her to the car.
"He didn't mention anything? Am I helping him with work stuff? Did he hear anything about Sean?" Billie bombarded him with questions all the way to the tarmac. Andrew silently shook his head and lead her inside the jet.
"Whoa. Is this his?" She asked, dumbfounded. She looked around and saw plush carpet and white leather interior. There were several seating areas, a bar, a kitchen and bedrooms. It was like a luxury apartment with wings.
Inside, she found a white box with a red bow. Tucked under the ribbon was a card. "We have never had an official first date. Inside, you will find a dress and shoes. I hope your like them. Please take your time and get ready. I have an evening planned for us. All my love, Ezra." Billie smiled and held the card to her chest. "A date? Andrew, you sneaky little shit." Billie said looking over at him. Andrew rolled his eyes. Billie picked up the box and whisked away to the back bedroom to change. The black dress was unbelievably beautiful. And sexy. It hugged her form and gathered in all the right places. It was a bit long but the 4 inch heels helped. She noticed the price tag. "Holy shit." She said out loud. It was the most expensive thing she had ever worn. She tied her back into a low pony and put on the dark, smudged eyeliner for a smoky look. Walking out, she asked Andrew how she looked. He smiled and told her she looked breathtaking.
"I need some wine. A lot of it. I'm a nervous wreck." She said. Andrew smiled and opened a bottle of Chablis. She took a deep breath and looked out the window at the Manhattan skyline as the plane began to descend.
The car picked her up and took her to the massive Fifth Avenue apartment. Andrew lead her to the door and Ezra opened it, his face showing shock like she hadn't seen before. He looked like a model in his tailored grey Armani suit with the collar slightly open and no tie.
"Hi." She said with a smile, turning around so he could see her in the dress.
"My god. You look, you look…" he began but had difficulty forming the words. "I am speechless." He finally said.
"Thank you. Are we staying in the hall?" She asked coyly.
"No. My apologies. Come in. I want to show you around." He said, taking her hand and leading her into the large foyer.
"Wow." Billie gasped. "This is like a palace. It's unbelievable."
"Thank you." He said.
"You own this?" She asked.
"Yes." He said. He lead walked her around the massive 14 room spread, ending the tour on the terrace overlooking the park. She was quiet for most of it, probably shock mostly, he thought to himself. Maybe she doesn't like it?
"Well, what do you think?" He asked.
"It's incredible." She said, looking out into the night. He handed her a glass of wine.
"Are you hungry?" He asked.
"Famished." She said. He smiled and walked her back to the foyer. "One more thing." He said, handing her a Tiffany's box.
She looked at him cautiously and opened it. Inside was a light blue pear-shaped sapphire pendant necklace with a double row of round brilliant diamonds in platinum.
"Ezra…" she began.
"Let me put it on." He said, taking it out of the box and fattening it around her neck.
"Do you like it?" He asked.
"I love it. The dress. The necklace. The shoes. The apartment. All of it. You don't have to do all this for…"
"I want to. I want to so badly. Let me." He interrupted. "I've been waiting for you. Missing you in my life and I didn't even know who you were. I have been wanting this, something real, as long as I can remember. Let me do this. Let me do it all for you." He said, looking into her eyes.
"I don't deserve all this. Why me?" She asked.
"Why anyone else when you exist?" He asked on return. "And I can assure you, you are the first person I have met that does deserve it. And more." He said.
They shared a moment of silence.
"Well, let's get some food, shall we?" He asked, holding out his arm.
"Yes. Yes please." She said, hoping the water filling her eyes wasn't ruining her makeup.
