Chapter 2 - Chapter 2: A New Day

Aaron awoke the next morning to the blaring of his alarm.

Where normally, this sound would insight misery and annoyance, to Aaron, this sound ment hope.

"Alright!" He thoguht.

"It's time I show the world the new me!"

Aaron quickly changed into his uniform and rushed down the stairs of his home and ate a quick breakfast before he left.

Soon after finishing his mother and father came downstairs to great him.

"Morning Mom, Mornig Dad!" shouted Aaron.

"Up early today arn't ya." said his Dad.

"Yep", said Aaronn "I'm actully pretty excited for today!"

"That's the spirit!", His mom said

"Now remeber, just do your best and you'll do great!"

"I will Mom" replied Aaron.

"I'll see you guys later today! bye!"

And with that he snatched is backack off the floor thew on his favorite sneakers and enthusiasticly flung the house's front door open.

"LOOK OUT WORLD HERE I COME!" he said to himself.

As he walked to the school, the thoughts of the impression he wanted to make flew through his head.

Only for them to be quickly crushed by what he soon realied was a reality.

He was in a highschool, a place were there would be kids twice his size, and while he was their equal in knolege, he knew he would not stand a chance if he got picked on.

Another thing he slowly realised was that he was a twelve year old who skipped half of middle school, he as sure he'd be treated different from the rest of the school.

"Maybe they won't treat me to differently." he thought.

"This is a school for the elite, I can't be that specal."

But even with these bits of self encouragemnt, the fears still loomed over his head.

These fears were slightly lifted once he arrived at Grey Phonix, the red brick building with white pillars looked more like a meeting place for congress then a school house, and as he strolled onto those pristeen school grounds, knowone batted an eye at him.

"Phew!" Aaron thought.

"It looks like i'm just seen as a normal student here."

Aaron strolled into the impressive building and he began to feel a level of relief, and as the bell rang for the first class, he was staring to feel even more comfortable.

That confidence was all shattered when the class had started.

The teacher who walked in somewhat suprising Aaron.

He expected a large middle aged man or woman, but the man that walked into the classroom seemed to be a Japanese college student in his early twenties.

He had sharp black hair, and was wareing a white dress shirt with black slacks and thin box shaped glasses.

On top of all that he seemed rather muscular.

"Greatings students." The teacher said.

"I am Noburo Arasaka, I will be your Home room and History teacher. You shall refer to me as either. Noburo or Mr. Arasaka."

"Now, I suppose it is appropriate to have a round of class introductions." Arasaka said.

"I'll point to you. You say your name, then sit back down. Simple as that."

This brought an aura of dread over Aaron.

"Crap! I hope knowone knows my name here!"

Mr. Arasaka slowly went through the room, and though these simple introductions lasted only a few seconds per person but they felt like hours to Aaron.

Finally, Mr. Arasaka got to him.

"You there!" He said as he pointed to Aaron.

Aaron's heart was pounding harder than it had ever pounded before, for he feared that once he let his name from his mouth, the whole class and even the whole school might know who he was.

"My name is Aaron Lancaster!" He said.

"It's nice to meet you!"

As soon as he said this the classroom erupted with chatter. Aaron's fears had come true.

"Wait, isn't he that 12 year old prodigy?"

He heard one student say.

"What's he doing here! He hasn't had to work for this!" Shouted another.

"He's got no right to be here!" said someone in agreement.

"SILENCE!!" shouted Mr. Arasaka.

"I will not have any student of my ridicule another over something so meaningless. This boy earned his place here same as you!"

"Now, let us continue the introductions."

Aaron sat back down in a state of half shock.

He knew his chance at normalcy was over.

The rest of the introductions went smoothly, but Aaron's confidence had been shattered.

He didn't want things to go back to the way it was at his old school, but his chance at that was over.
