The next morning Aaron awoke to the sound of his alarm once again, changing and grabbing breakfast before walking to Grey Phoenix.
The day felt practically the same as the one before.
But Aaron wasn't paying any attention to that, and unlike the day before, he was fairly relaxed, for any sence of stress had melted off of him last night.
He was still optimistic about actually making some friends, and that optimism was enforced once he arrived on school grounds.
Everything seemed much like it was yesterday, but instead the silent entrance he experienced yesterday, he was greeted by a slim, blond woman in a white dress shirt and black skirt.
"Ah! Young Aaron!" She called.
"Hello?" He said in reply.
"Oh, pardon me, we haven't been formally introduced yet." She said;
"I am the school principal, you may call me Mrs. Vivian."
"Ok..." Said Aaron;
"Am I in any trouble?"
"No!" Mrs. Vivian said in reply.
"I realized that you weren't given a proper tour of this school yesterday!"
"OH!" Said Aaron.
"I didn't realize that was a thing!"
"Yes, indeed it is!" She replied.
"Now, I'll have our finest student, take you on a quick tour before classes!"
"Ok, sounds great!" Said Aaron.
"Alright! I'll go get him then!" She said.
Mrs. Vivian dissapeared for a minute or two, but soon returned with a tall, brown haired boy.
"Aaron, this is William. This schools star pupal!" She stated.
"It's a pleasure." Said William, as he reached his hand out for a shake.
"Thanks, the feeling is mutual." Aaron replied, as he accepted the hand shake.
"Will, would you be so kind as to show Aaron around the school grounds?" Asked Mrs. Vivian.
"Of course ma'am." He said in reply.
"Come on kid."
As William set off, Aaron followed quickly behind him.
"Alright, so you've seen the basic classrooms right?" Asked William.
"Yep" Aaron replied.
"Ok, that's good." William stated. As he pushed open two doors.
"Here's the gym." He said.
"There's an indoor and outdoor version."
"Cool." Aaron replied.
"Over here is the library and study hall." He said pointing to a large book lined room.
"And over here is the principles office and faculty lounge" he said, pointing to two doors at the end of the hall.
The tour went on for another couple minutes before ending back at the school lockers.
"Alright, that's everything Kid." Said William.
"Alright, cool!" Replied Aaron.
"Oh, so, do you think you could meet me in the outdoor gym later today?" Asked William.
Aaron's face lit up with excitement.
"Sure!" He replied
"what for?" He added.
"It's the welcome committee, all the freshmen students are part of it." Replied William.
"Ok, Awsome! See you there!" Said Aaron excitedly.
"Ya, cool!" Said William.
"But keep it on the down low, we want to surprise the new kids!"
"Then why tell me?", asked Aaron.
"The principle put you on the committee, so you're helping us plan it!" Replied William.
"Ok, nice!", "See you then!" Replied Aaron.
The rest of the day went about as normally as it could. At this point Aaron was just waiting for the day to end, and to join the planning committee.
For the first time, he had been asked to help plan a school event.
Finally the bell rang, and Aaron set off for the gym.
He had been thinking up some ideas for things to do for the freshmen all day, but appon reaching the gym doors he realised something odd.
"Hum, nowone is here?" He thought.
"Maybe I'm the first one he-"
Before he finished, he suddenly felt a sharp feeling in his chest.
The feeling rippled through out his entire body, and he started to have the sensation of vomiting and before he knew what happened, he found himself collapsed on the gym floor.
