Summer was a blast. I made a bunch of new friends and stepped out of my comfort zone. I managed to run into Phoebe and asked her how everything was going. She said everything was running smoothly but over the summer something traumatic happened to her family. I asked her if she wanted to talk about it but she said she isn't ready. I told her that I'm here to support her through anything. Today is the first day of my Sophomore year and I'm kind of nervous. I know that this year will be good but I'm nervous about the freshman. I don't want them to be picked. I'm going to be sticking up for anyone who is being bullied and let them know that they have friends and hopefully become an example to all the other people. So far I haven't seen any bullying but that doesn't mean that nobody is doing it.
I want to let people know that they have a friend so I'm going to be asking everyone in every grade to take a kid who looks like he isn't doing too good and helps them get on their feet. I chose this kid named Duane Spurk who isn't doing good academically and physically so I'm going to be helping him get on his feet and let him know that he has a friend. I think that nobody should be left behind in any way and everyone should be welcomed to a new school with a friend who has been there for a little longer than them so they can help out as much as possible. I always think of the Golden Rule which is to Treat Others The Way You Want To Be Treated. This year isn't going to be about me, it is going to be about helping other people who need it like I did when I got to high school. So far I have all A's and B's in school but I need to start helping Duane out so that he can have A's and B's and not E's and F's.
I love what I do and I wouldn't change that for anything. I ran into John the other day while I was shopping for new clothes for Duane. He asked me how everything was going and I told him good and that the club is running with a different purpose this time. He asked what the purpose was and I told him that now everyone who participates must help 1 kid do better in and outside of school. John agrees with that and he told me that I should keep up what I'm doing and one day I'll change that school. Track season is starting and I encouraged every student to at least try a sport that looks interesting. Everyone is supportive of what I'm doing and it is making an impact on how the school is running. With only 2 years left of high school, I am working my hardest on our future at this school. I'm hoping that this will change the way this school will be. I want to improve everything about the school and leave a mark on it. So far every student has tried out for at least one sport and said they enjoy it. I'm glad that I'm able to change schools. Duane is doing a lot better now that I've been helping him. His grades went from E's and F's to B's and C's. I've been helping out a sensor that isn't doing good. His name is James Martinez. I know he wasn't nice to me at first but now he needs me and I shouldn't hold any grudges against anyone no matter what they did. After all, I should thank him because if it wasn't for him I wouldn't be how I am right now. After all, no kid should be left out no matter what happens or who the person is. Well, that's it for this year see you next year!
