Allissa's Pov
"Ugh!" I slam my hand down onto my alarm. Time to get ready for school.
Oh hey there, for those of you who don't know me, I'm Allissa Anderson and today is my first day as a junior at Orion High, the school for the supernatural.
I know what you're thinking 'supernatural' and yeah most teens who go to Orion High are either vampires, werewolf, and/or witches/wizards.
But not only is today my first day, but it's also my 16th birthday. 'Why is this so important' you ask, well today is the day I meet my mate.
After brushing my teeth and taking a warm shower I throw on a black crop top, some light blue jeans shorts, and a black choker.
"Allie! Blake is here!" My mom yells from downstairs.
"Coming!" I yell back as I head downstairs.
"Good morning" I greet my parents.
"Good morning sweetheart!" My father says looking up from his paper with a smile.
"Good morning darling," My mother says while setting down a plate of eggs and blood sausages in front of me.
"Hurry up and eat you don't wanna miss meeting your mate." My mother says while kissing my temple.
I quickly eat my food and grab my backpack.
"Bye!" I say to my parents as I quickly hurry out the door and into the garage where I see Blake.
"Happy birthday Miss," He says. "Thank you" I reply.
"And Blake how many times do I have to tell you, you can just call me Allissa". I say while scanning the large garage for a car to ride to school.
"I guess old habits never change miss" He replies.
When I finally found spotted the car I start walking over to it.
Oh did I mention my parents are rich, like stinking rich? I mean I guess that's what comes with being the Supreme Don and Deity of the vampires.
I hop in the car and start the engine.
"Don't worry about driving me today Blake. Go enjoy yourself I'll call you if I need help." I say to the man standing outside my window.
"Ok miss will do." He replies.
5 mins later
"Shit, shit, shit" I whisper to myself as I rush through the empty halls to get to class.
I thought that I would have enough time to stop by Starbucks to get a Frappuccino but I guess not.
I look down at my phone to see the time says 8:47. "Damn it". I hear someone say only to realize I'm falling over.
"Whoa there, you should be more careful of where you step" I hear another voice say while catching me and helping me regain my balance.
Suddenly the whole world stops and I'm met with two pairs of eyes. Everything seems frozen at this moment and it's almost as if I don't want these few seconds to end.
There stand two beautiful redheads. With sharp grey eyes that seem to pierce into my heart.
"Mates," I say in mind or at least I thought I did.
"You feel that too," The two redheads say in unison. Shaking me out of my trance.
"Y-yeah I do" I reply stuttering.
I study them for a bit. They are almost identical. The only difference is one's hair is parted to the left and one to right.
One seems more serious, the other has a more playful physique.
"Hey I'm Allissa," I say after pulling myself together.
"I'm Lexa and that's Ashley," The twin on the left says. "But you can just call us Ash and Lex," Ashley says finishing her sister's sentence.
"Ok," I say. I quickly remember I was on my way to class. "Oh shit um, I gotta go. Catch you two later? " I say walking away
"Definitely," They say in unison while Ash winks and me. I feel my face slowly start to heat up as Lex nudges her in the side.
I finally get to the classroom and knock on the door.
"Come in," The teacher says.
As soon as I step into the room everyone rises out of the seats.
I chuckle, "Guys you don't have to do that every time I enter a room." They all sit down.
I walk over to my seat next to my best friend Demetrius.
"You good bro, you seem a bit off." He asks me.
"Yeah I'm fine-" I look up at the teacher whose attention is towards the board then I lean towards Demetrius "-I met my mates in the hallway."
"Wait seriously!" He yells.
"Is there something you would like to share with the class, Mr. Mills?" The teacher asks him.
"No sir, I'm sorry." He replies.
"Be quiet you idiot," I say while smacking him on the back of the head. I did it so fast that no one was able to notice.
"Ouch," He says while rubbing his head.
"I'll tell you about them at lunch," I say to him.
"Okay, okay just don't hit me again." He replies.
I focus my attention back on the teacher and the board.

The rest of my classes went by pretty quickly, even though I wasn't paying attention to most of them because my mind kept going back to the twins.

When the bell rang I head to my locker where I see my other friend Jordan.
Hey, Allie what's up," She asks.
"Hey Jor, nothing much. Oh, I found my mates." I tell her.
She nods her head.
"Aight let's head to lunch." She says.
We head into the cafeteria and sit at our regular table.
Demetrius is already there talking to his girlfriend Maddison.
"Yo, what's good Jordan," He says while dapping her up.
"Nothing much, you know how it goes." He replies.
Maddison turns to me. "So Demetrius told me you found your mate".
"Yeah, I-" I'm cut off by everyone turning their heads toward the door and whispering to one another.
I turn around and there I see the two redheads entering the cafeteria.
Their eyes scan the room until Lexa spots me. She points me out to Ashley. They both start heading towards our table.
"Are they coming over here?" Jordan asks.
"Looks like it," I say.
When they arrive at our table they sit on each side of me. Then they kiss me on my cheeks simultaneously.
I feel my face heat up.
I look at my friends who are staring at us in shock.
"Um guys this is Ashley and this is Lexa, my mates," I say pointing to the twins.
Ashley waves while Lexa says "Hey" nonchalantly.
"Wait did you say 'mates'? " Demetrius asks.
"You have two of them!" Maddison practically yells so the whole cafeteria can hear.
"Lucky bitch" Jordan adds with a smirk.
"Yeah I found out this morning," I reply
Ashley's Pov
Lexi and I are heading to the cafeteria.
As soon as we walk in all eyes are on us but we are only looking for one person.
Lexa nudges me in my side and points to the table where Allissa is.
We both make our way over to her table and when we get there were both give her a kiss on the cheek.
I turn to her friends and they are sitting there in shock.
"Um, guys this is Ashley and Lexi, my mates." She says pointing me then Lexi
I wave and Lexa says "Hey" in her usual monotone.
While Allissa is talking to her friends I stare at her. Not in a weird way but more like admiring her.
I just noticed how the light reflects off her eyes when she is happy and how soft and smooth her skin looks.
She notices my staring at looks at me with confusion.
I lean in close to her "I'm just admiring your beauty" I whisper.
Her face starts to turn pink.
I take her chin in between my index finger and my thumb and I lean in once again but this time I kiss her forehead.
With every touch, I feel an electric spark within me.
"Ashy, baby!" I hear someone say shaking me out of my trance.
"Oh, shit" I hear Lexa say.
