While Luck was thinking, Yuki was listening in on his thoughts. It's not like she could turn it off and give him some privacy, his thoughts were automatically transmitted to her. Thankfully her thoughts were kept private from him. For what she was thinking now would have surely shocked Luck.
She was deep in her own thoughts thinking about how she got here in this situation. Before this Yuki helped transmigrate a uncountable number of souls before and she knew how the entire process worked but in Lucks case this was the first time she had ever seen anyone who had been given those ability choices.
This was also the first time she was seeing this universe on the transplant list. Then just as the process was supposed to have been completed she had found herself transported with him. That was something that should have been impossible.
To make matter worse she was also only here in spirit being inseparably attached to Lucks soul, and
At first she thought how did this happen? The only thing she could think of was that it had something to do with those ability choices she had never seen before.
Even then if something unforeseen did happen it's nothing the creator wouldn't be able to sort out easily. She started to grow suspicious of her current situation when she realized she was not only fused into his soul, she was also his personal system and she innately knew innately how to operate as a system.
With nothing better to do she was passing the time doing a half assed job pretending to be his system while waiting patiently all this time for a rescue.
Then she felt her soul resonate with her body when they entered the biomechanics lab. There is no chance for that to have happened without the creator doing it deliberately she knew.
That's when Yuki knew there was no rescue coming for her. Seeing her own body hiding in a wall was a bittersweet moment for her. Happy to have her body back and at the same time filled with rage about the entire situation. Feeling the need to kill something, Humpty drew the short straw quite literally.
While she was scanning the labs records she found out her body had been lying dormant in this universe for over 500 years. Now Yuki didn't know what to think, "just what is going on?" she asked herself.
What she knew for sure was that her life was tethered to Lucks and if he died that would also be the end for her, so no matter what she had to keep him alive.
When she injected him with the DNA that he needed to evolve his mutant cells she had also injected him with her nanobots with the directive of taking over his brain but once placed inside him she found to her surprise that she lost contact with them. Her nanobots were apart of her and losing contact had never happened before unless one was destroyed completely.
Lucks body however was rejecting them and he was pushing them out through his pores subconsciously. The good news was he didn't seem to notice what she did, so she quickly recalled them back and pretended nothing had happened. Now that she knew she couldn't control him directly, she would just have to lead him along.
She did not know why she was here, but she did know what she had to do now. As she was coming to terms with her situation, she was going to take her role as his system seriously. She knew that by helping him it would be akin to helping herself.

Hearing that the system was finally going to teach him something new Luck was ecstatic, at least before he remembered the lightning pain that direct learning involved. He was still suffering from phantom pains after having received Yuki's information. Deciding he didn't want to literally shit himself he opted for the explanation.
[System - Step one - first calm your mind by getting rid of any stray thoughts, your only focus should be on what your trying to accomplish. Then visualize exactly what your trying to do step by step, a clear and detailed mental image is needed here. This will allow you to expand your consciousness and your energy will start to react according to the visual image you created. When you feel the energy within yourself use your will power to connect that energy with the mental image your holding. The three main aspects are focusing, visualization and willpower.]
"That's just the basics to meditating mostly," Luck complains while looking at Yuki, he found it easier to talk to somebody than to have a mental conversation in his head and naturally now that there was somebody to talk to he defaulted to her.
"I suppose that is true except you need to think about things you can actually do, so with your (life) ability if you think about a wound closing for example and go through the steps correctly it will heal if you have sufficient energy for it." Yuki continues her explanation "If you thought about food appearing out of midair obviously nothing would happen because you have no ability to make that happen, that's just wishful thinking.
As long as you stick to the three ability's you chose and have sufficient energy to fuel them the only limit is your imagination." Yuki finish's explaining.
Having heard the explanation it seemed simple enough, he had a pretty good imagination after all.
