In a village near The National Highway
A mud house is located outside the village isolated from the other houses symbolizing that none of the villagers want to have anything to do with it.
Two boys are sitting outside of the house in the lawn of 20×10 square feet on a mat facing the kind look of an elderly woman.
The woman seems to be not able to see (blind) raises her hand and Nile reaches and holds it in his hands. The elderly says ," well Nile you really have grown up and all going to the town and leaving me behind."
Nile replies, " well mama it's not like I am not going to come back again so why are you saying this sad stuff."
The elderly teases, " I am just worried that in the town there are many beauties and you will change after meeting them ,"giving a sad look she continues, " there is only you in my life, "
Nile hurriedly said, "don't worry mama ,I am your son and I won't change even in the next life let alone this one and ...." the more Nile tries to convince her the more flustered he becomes.
Realizing this she chuckles and says, " he he he ,well we will see when that happens , now go eat something. It's already past evening so go to sleep after Dinner."
She brings out a packet wrapped up in the torn up clothes and open it bringing out a Simple handmade string which have the only word N craved on a square inch wooden plaque.
She hands it the boy saying, " here this is for you my boy, remember to keep it on you all the times and you will never feel lonely out there in the town."
Nile takes it and keeps it away and says ," okay mama now you should rest I am going to take some food and prepare for tomorrow before going to bed."
After that the elderly lies down and Nile covers her up with a blanket And fits Mosquito Net with two sides tied to the mud wall and the other two sides tied to the boundary of the house.
After making sure that everything is done Nile and I both enters the mud house through the only door. House interior is pretty simple with a hall of 20 x 20 square foot , a corner with various pots and plates being used as a kitchen another corner having various miscellaneous stuff , a plane wooden bed in the third corner and a wooden wardrobe in the last corner holding clothes and all. In the middle a worn down wooden table with only two chairs and four stools is placed.
Reema and Shakti are currently sitting together on chairs chatting happily. I silently sat down beside them both listening to them being intimate like the newly weds. Nile goes to the kitchen corner and after washing up brings some food and we both happily ate while giggling at Shakti's immature romance.
After eating our full and having some walk and talk me and my brother retire to the the wooden bed while Nile and his sister retires to the mat outside beside his mother.
