A village by the side of National Highway.
Darkness disperses as Sun rises in the east, on the other side of the National Highway. Birds Chirping and various animal's voices arises informing the villagers arrival of a brand new Day.
In a house outside the village.
Nile yawns as he sits up rubbing his eyes while feeling strange. Opening his eyes he realizes that he is inside the house but doesn't dawdle on it, thinking this to be his sister's doing.
Folding the bedsheets and net he arranges them in the wardrobe and exists through the door.
In the lawn he sees his mother still lying inside the net and sulks," There are still stars visible in the sky and both the Love Birds are gone to romance around the pond. Someone sure was pretty heavily lecturing me yesterday for being irresponsible ,hun ..hun," while feeling something strange he adds, " but where has he gone off to without me."
Kicking all the complicated thinking to the back of his mind he reaches for the water stored by the side of the lawn's gate and washes up.
Then He approaches his mother and shouts sweetly, "Rise and Shine mama, its morning."
His Mother sits up as if she was already awake and waiting for the call and replies, "Good morning my boy, you sure are early today," suddenly she acts as if realizing something as she teasingly exclaims, "you must be quite excited to see all the pretty girl of the town and must not have slept the whole night ."
Nile begin to get irritated at the mention of girls and shouts with anger in his voice," Now that's quite enough mama , don't you dare start the rambling again? or .... or ..... " at the end he becomes speechless as usual and doesn't know how to threaten his mother.
His mother chuckles and says, "okay boy, I won't tease you anymore ,now where is your friend, you both should prepare, I have talked to your uncle James and he is willing to accompany you to the town."
Nile replies," okay Mama , you wash up then, I am going to see where they are and don't worry I will bring something back from the fields for lunch." Saying so Nile exists the home and sprints toward the pond area.
After some time the Sun rises and Nile having searched through all the possible locations returns home. Panicking Nile enquires , "Mama, has my sister come back?"
"No, she hasn't, " replies his mother.He start panking and tells his mother that he have searched all round the village yet he couldn't find them."Wait a little more, she might be coming back." replies his mother. Having a bad feeling but following his mothers orders he still wait for them anxiously.
As a sun rises his bad feeling keeps growing more and more. He asks his mother , "Mama it's been so long and they are still not back. We should inform uncle James."
"Wait a minute Nile ,go inside and fetch me the jade that I told you to keep safe,"said his mother.
Even though he was worried about his sister but he still listen to his mother and went inside to fetch the box of jade. Handing it to his mother he says,"I am going to meet uncle James." His mother says ,"wait a minute." She opens the box and feeling the content she sighs and looks up to Nile with a serious gaze .
See starts speaking ,"My dear child ,come sit here We have a lot to talk about." Feeling the seriousness in his mother's voice Nile sits beside her. Looking up at her face he says," Mama we need to hurry and search for I have a very bad feeling about Her being missing."
"Listen Nile your sister is gone far away for you to search as you are right now. Before asking any questions let me tell you about some facts that I have kept hidden from you. Do you know why I did not develop house inside the village. You must have realised during the years that people think of you as a mentally disabled boy. The children even call you psycho,"says his mother.
"But that's because they can't see brother Shakti and sis Reema," argued Nile. "My child it is not that they can't see them but it is only you who can see them. Even I can only hear Reema and not Shakti,"said his mother.
"What!," exclaimed Nile.
"Quite down boy and listen, both Shakti and Reema are not as simple as you think. Your friend Frost is not a human being either.
Those three entities came to me when I was facing darkest time of my life. They not only saved me but they also manage to save you. In return they told me that a time will come when you must embark on a path of no return that is path of power ,strength and martial. They denied me anymore information from giving you. Now you have two options either live a normal life and I will make sure you can live peacefully or you can embark on a path of power with countless challenges awaiting you. One thing you must understand clearly that your sister is gone far away if you choose to live a normal life you may never see her again."
A confused Nile with his mouth open wide looks at his mother.
His mother sighs and says ,"think about it calmly and deeply and then answer."
