A campfire is placed in the middle of a circle of wagons. Pair of girls are sitting closely to each other near the campfire. A Hooligan like Boy is surrounded by a few followers. The Boy occasionally glances towards the pair of girls while talking with his Followers.
A few adult men Are Sitting around the place ,Some preparing the food , some Maintaining the Animals ,While 2 scholarl looking people preparing some documents In a lonely corner. A boy Is silently sitting With his eyes closed, seems to be meditating.
Uncle James is helping the guards captain in cooking food. After sometime food is prepared and captain Sam clanks the big pot come," children, let's have dinner" while uncle James takes two portions of food and moves toward when one of the wagons where Veena and Nile were.
"Dinner is ready madam, anything else you would like to order," joked uncle James while giving one portion to Veena. Veena smiles and replies ,"thank you, I don't have anything else to order, but I must say your services are very poor, look even the place your arranged does not have any tables, just a sheet to sit down," says Veena while pouting like a young girl of 18. Uncle James sits beside her and taunts ,"very well madam next time I will make sure to not arrange even sheets for you." Saying so he looks at Nile and asks ,"are you sure about Jessica being his mentor, I know she is very talented and well trained for her age but still she is just a child prone to mistakes."
"Don't worry James, she may be a child but don't forget who is teaching her."
"Yeah yeah I know, the great strategist and spiritualist, so what ,even you can make mistakes sometimes."
"Dear James how many times have I told you ,the mistakes that I made were chosen by me, not some accidents." James looks up at his daughter while eating," she really does resemble you from academy days."
"So what's the plan next, now that he have choose the martial path, are you really willing to have him do whatever he seeks, are you really not going back to settle those grievances."
"To tell you the truth James, time changes everyone. When I escaped with Nile, I had promised myself to settle him somewhere and go back to fight those devils, but as I took care of Nile for the following years, the simple life made me forget all about those troubles. Slowly my affection for the kids changed me and my way of thinking. Right now even if I have to choose between Nile and supreme rule I will gladly choose him."
"I really do understand you Veena, after all I have also grown attached to the girl. What an irony, the girl I picked up a decade ago, have today become more important than my life. Power of love is truly a miracle."
"After all love is one of the governing supreme rule,"sighs Veena looking up at the sky.
"If it is really so then why did you love allow him to choose this path."
"James there is another supreme rule governing the existence.Its workings can be predicted but never changed."
"The fate,"speaks uncle James deep in thought.
"Yes James, the supreme rule of destiny. He is their son ,he will surely meet them someday. It is not something you and I can change so why bother trying. Let the destiny do its job and we will do ours while also enjoying it. At least it is much better than simple pursuit of power that we experienced for so many years in the past."
James passes Veena a bottle of water and takes the dishes. He stands up to bring back the dishes for washing,"well whatever the plan be I will just keep you company for the rest of life."
"You can keep me company till death and I will still not agree to your proposal," taunts Veena. "I know my lady but you also don't forget you promise to not leave me behind ever again,"saying so James moves back towards the fire.
After sometime Nile slowly wake up feeling a headache Veena ask,"how are you feeling child?" Nile replies,"I am feeling very hungry and," looking at his wrist bracelet he say," I feel like I know something that I didn't before."
"Don't worry child, that's the knowledge you get after bonding with ASD ,we will talk about it later first go have some dinner."
"And one more thing the person who helps when bonding the ASD is the only other person who can access some data from it, no third person can access any data from the ASD in normal way. Still there are some abilities which allow such information robbery so it is better if you protect and not allow others to contact it physically."
Understanding his mother's warning Nile replies," I will make sure to protect it ,mama". Saying so Nile starts moving towards the camp fire but turns back to ask ,"mama ,have you had dinner ?" "Oh dear, I already had some brought by your uncle James."
"Okay then I will be back soon," saying so Nile finally goes to have dinner. Reaching the centre of caravan Nile asks uncle Sam for the dinner.
"You are lucky boy ,if you had come late this pot would have been dumped," saying so Uncle Sam serves Nile a portion and the tells two other people to take the pot to dump seeing the food still in the big pot. Nile asks uncle Sam," wait a little uncle Sam ,could you give me this reminder of food instead of dumping it." Uncle Sam remind him," it is not healthy to eat too much food at once." Nile replies ,"uncle I am feeling far too hungry after I bonded this." Saying so Nile raises his wrist. Uncle Sam realises ,"oh! I see ,now I get it. Very well you just sit here and eat I will serve whenever you need," saying so uncle Sam dismisses other two guards.
And so Nile starts eating without minding the stairs The other children were giving him sitting just a few metres away. As the food in the pot get finished Nile concludes his dinner with a burp.
"Such delicious food, thank you uncle Sam for the food," says Nile. "Such a sweet boy ,"uncle Sam said. Then he looks at the other kids and continuous," unlike some kids who doesn't even know the meaning of gratitude." Saying so uncle Sam moves on with the pot to have it washed.
After uncle Sam has gone Nile finds himself the focus of every other child. Spotting Jessica with another girl sitting on a separate map with enough space for 3 more to set he approaches them and without any greetings sits face to face to Jessica, beside the other girl. Before he could even ask or say anything a sharp voice reached him.
"hey psycho how dare you sit there without permission, you have been getting on my nerve for quite sometime." Nile looks towards the source of voice and finds a boy along with some followers standing beside the mat they were sitting on. Nile says ,"why would I need permission to sit when there is more than enough space available. It's not like it is someone's house that I need permission to enter."
"He really is a crazy fellow," speaks oneof the followers."
"Don't you know that only diamonds are allowed to sit beside the beauties," said another follower.On hearing this, the boy in the centre raises his chest proudly as if announcing that he was the diamond.
"What? diamond ?beauties ? I do feel that these two are quite beautiful but I don't see any diamond here on the mat. Did you see Jessica? " asking so Nile looks towards Jessica.
The face of the boy in the centre instantly darkens. One of the followers ," truly ,a blind mother can only birth a blind child. Don't you see our boss is one of the two great talents of the village. He is one of the two diamonds and only he is allo.....," even before he could complete, a punch to the face strikes him two paces back with his nose broken and blood flowing out.
