Chapter 4 - 4

"Shall we make it look real?" He said as his lips pressed hard against her neck, biting and sucking on it, he was going to leave his mark there, letting everyone know he had made her his. He pushed her further up the wall sucking just above her breast, marking her again. She gasped for breath at the pleasure shooting through her.

He slid her back down the wall, kissing her lips intensely. "Pull my hair" He commanded, she tugged his hair as he fondled her breast, they were huge, he hadn't expected that. She began to respond to his kisses, her body making shy little movements, she wanted him, he could feel it dripping out of her. "What the fuck is going on?" He said as he let her go.

Before she had a chance to realize what had happened, she was on the floor with her dress piled up around her. She looked at him, he wasn't bothered at all, he had no desire for her, she was the only one who was on the edge of ecstasy. She gathered her wits and was about to answer him, when he snapped back at her "For Christ sakes, speak so that I can fucking understand you this time."

Islay was furious, the ignorance of this man, they spoke the same language!! However, this was not the time to deal with that, she needed to break the communication barrier.

"Ah awready tellt ye, we ur in danger 'n' we hae tae lea, we cannae stay 'ere" She searched his face for validation of his understanding "Dae ye ken?". He sighed, "We need to leave?" she shook her head in acknowledgement and he could see her relief "Aye".

Her dress was torn, she was covered with his marks, and her hair was a mess. He picked up his shirt casually putting it on, he didn't want her leaving the room like this, but he needed everyone to believe he had taken her. "I will get a maid to bring you new clothes, your current state should be enough to let your father think he has won". "This is ma ainlie dress" "What" he said confused, "Ah haven't git ony ithers", how could a Lord's daughter only have one dress? He picked his cape up from the floor and placed it around her shoulders. "Are you Lord Culden's daughter?" "Aye" "I don't know what's going on here, but I know we don't have time to talk about it now, I also understand we are in danger, will you trust me?" "Aye" she said knowing she had no choice but to trust him. She remembered Ida "Mah maid?" "I know" he said.

The doors flew open "My Lord, I am starving" Bellowed Lainn across the hall. Everyone's heads turned to the door as it opened, their eyes gazing past him to Islay." The maid rushed past Lainn, helping Islay up. The disheveled Islay rose to her feet, still on a high from the Prince's touch.

Culdens saw his daughter, her clothes tattered, cheeks flushed, her hair half down, half still in a bun. A malice smile crept across his lips, pleasure in his eyes. Lainn observed Culden's expressions. Anyone else would have been furious with what he had done to Islay. Culden hated her, but why.

Culden turned "We shall we eat?" he said as he started his descent down the hall, the blonde joining his side. Lainn turned to Islay who was now standing behind him, with a flirtatious look he nodded for her to go, Ida helped Islay steady herself as they moved past Lainn.

"What did you find out?" Lainn questioned Burm as they synced their steps together. Burm sighed "Everyone here is afraid. I wasn't able to find out much, only that the Lady had disappeared, everyone was searching for her when we arrived." "Do you know who found her?" "Yeah, the maid with her now." Lainn still didn't have a clear grasp of what was going on. Just that his new wife may not be as much of an enemy as he had thought, her father definitely didn't care about her. Lainn was beginning to think Culden was taking care of two birds with one stone. "A kuro for your thoughts" Burm said trying to dull the situation, "The enemy of my enemy is my friend" Lainn replied looking intensely at Islay.

Islay stood in awe at the magnificent of the dining hall. She had never left the castle before, but she was also not allowed to wander the halls. She had no idea that Culden possessed such wealth. The crystal alone would buy an army. There were four fireplaces, the flames rising high, expelling a warmth that Islay had never felt. She walked to the closet fireplace holding out her hands, soaking in the warmth. Lainn observantly watched her, she was so different from the other Ladies he had encountered, something so little and basic brought her such joy. Was her life here really that bad?

Dinner was delicious and Islay would have eaten all night long, if Nordi hadn't stopped her. Islay had been avoiding Nordi's gaze, but eventually Nordi said something "My dear, if you keep eating like that you will burst on your wedding night." Islay laid down her fork, even though her belly still hurt from hunger.

"My Lord would you be so kind as to prepare bread, cheese, and wine for our departure back." Liann asked. Culden, huffed, "Of course I will ensure your needs are settled before you leave here. However, my men have been unable to bring your things in. They said you ordered them to not unpack." "Ah, yes. Regrettably we cannot stay the night. We must prepare for the wedding in the capital, and on my way back there are a few things I needed to check." Lainn saw was about to be challenged so he added, "King's orders"

Lord Culden was fighting back his anger as he managed to calmly reply to the pompous brat "Your Majesty, it would take at least a day to gather my daughters' things and entourage." "I only need one maid, that one should be fine." He said motioning towards Ida. He saw Culden was about to argue with him "I have my own maids; Islay only needs a companion for the journey, and I have taken a liking to her". Culden's knuckles whitened as he gripped his knife "Nordi would be a much better choice, they are quite close, and she is helping my daughter refine her skills as a princess."

Nordi approached Islay, attempting to place her hands on her shoulders to display affection. Islay shifted her body, spilling wine on Nordi's dress. Oh my god, what did I do? Islay thought as she winced in fear.
