Chapter 54 - Chapter 52: The Matter of Urgency

"Mia, the knight in the pink armor." A deep voice called behind the pink knight while walking down a long corridor.

"Hmm, if it isn't the Luca, the knight in the maroon armor." She took off her helmet to show him a long grin.

"Long time no see." He shrugged as he removed his three-horned helmet. A sharp-jawed, short black hair man smiled at her with his green eyes sparkling in confidence.

"Back at you." She walked up to him, stretching her left hand in his direction.

"It's a relief to see you doing well." The maroon knight shook her hand, holding each other's forearms tightly.

"Hmm, in the name of the Heavens shall we all be well." She displayed a confident side smile.

"In the name of Heavens." He responded as Mia took off in front of him. Walking behind her, she couldn't help but ask about the urgent meeting.

"Any word about this current situation?" She asked, hoping for an answer.

"Not really. The red knight only told me to meet in the Theater of Recollection. She wouldn't answer any of my questions!" He shouted in irritation. He tilted his head sideways a bit. "And you?"

"Same, though I didn't ask the red knight." She answered, standing in front of a massive blue double door, with three winged men and women on each entry, sculpted above each other, praying appeared.

"Last time we held a meeting here was when the God of Destruction annihilated his Takamagahara..." A nervous sweat raced down their faces.

"I apologize, Lord Hachiman of War, but the High Heavenly Gods are preoccupied." A statement made by an angelic being behind a winged desk, apologizing with a bow, she instructed him to take a seat. "I beg, if you would like to please sit down, the High Heavenly Gods will momentarily transport you into a conference room." She lifted her head, gesturing over a massive cloud-like seat. Above an open sky was this enormous room: the empty blue sky, a single angel, a desk, and a floating cloud.

"It's fine, it's fine. I will wait, but please tell me about my servants' current situation." He begged, slightly bowing his head. "Her name is Miko!" He placed his hands by his thighs.

"My lord, I am very humbled to only be in your presence. Lift your head. I, a lowly being, do not deserve this." She stretched out her shaking arms to make Hachiman lift his head.

"Please." He begged. This time he arched his back, bowing.

"Okay, I will try to get a word, but please, I beg for your highness to lift your head." A smile came out of her head. She was ashamed.

"Hmm, thanks." He smiled, causing the angel to smile with tears in her eyes.

"So handsome!" She thought to herself while taking a seat.

A loud melody played through the long hall. Mia stood in her tracks as the enormous double doors began to shift inwards, slowly opening and revealing a vast room. Desks lined up one behind another, beside another, stretching to the ends of the massive room. A giant display-like screen was in front of the room, and in front, it stood a single winged figure.

"You two are quite early." The red armor female looked back. Then, pulling a chair back, she sat down and took off the helmet to reveal a beautiful, tan-skinned, purple-eyed, short reddish hair female knight. She displayed a smile and gestured to the two stuttering knights to take a seat next to her.

"Both of you, sit next to me." She revealed her long tongue as if mocking, taunting them.

"Yes!" Both knights stiffened up, walking into the ever-so-golden and white room.

"I'm sitting on her right side. You take the left seat," Mia ordered the maroon knight as her hair brushed past the door.

"Aight' ma'am." Luca scratched his head, exhaling.

"Hmph." Mia scuffed while walking down the long red carpet.

"Anything?" After what seemed like forever, Hachiman stood up from the cloud, concerned. Finally, unable to bear the matter, he asked the angel for an answer. "Why have I transported here anyways?" His worries took over his usual laid-back attitude.

"Yes, They will shortly transport you to the Master Desk." She stood up, bowing in respect. "They only notified me to open the bridge to this dimension, sir. I humbly apologize for not having an answer."

"Drop it drop it. It's fine." Hachiman retook a seat. "So, how much longer am I staying here?" He asked her while throwing his hands behind his head.

"They notified me that the conference will conclude in three hours." She smiled softly while sitting down.

"Three hours!?"

"No, no way! Ask them to transport me into where Miko is!" he shouted, jolting up.

With a bit of fear, the angel's face tried to calm him down, drenched in sweat.

"However, They told me that the High Heavenly Gods were to speak to you." She leaned back a bit.

"Leave that matter for after they're done. Just tell the Masters of Bridges to take me to Miko for now." He asserted.

"Yes, sir. I'm contacting them right away." She held her ear.
