"Hakai~" A soothing female voice sang his name.
"Hmm?" He grunted, lying down in a bed of black and gray flowers.
"My precious boy. How've I yearned to see you." A flow of black oozing energy flew over his body. Then, slowly encompassing him, he felt a sudden dread.
"Who're you?" His eyes fluttered in pain. His body felt like it was being burnt alive.
Out of nowhere, the black energy flow slowly took the shape of a slim faceless lady. Under her thin things, Hakai's head rested. Tightly hugging him, his body emitted a negative energy release.
"Pain who inhabits our body, leave us alone, but bless us with the remainder of life." She sang as her dark lips touched Hakai's forehead.
"So warm..." Hakai uttered as he gripped the forearms of the lady.

Hachiman's tolerance began to run low. The angel who occupied this lonely blue sky seemed nervous, scared even. He looked around for a way out, but this dimension, as endless as the sky seemed, was indeed but a small all-around sixty-foot cube. Knowing that the Gods of Heaven had their secrets, this situation had to be one of them. This conference was for either a strategic plan to break down the underworld rulers or a plan to execute a perfect punishment on him. Raging in the High Heavens is a great sin, but taking in the current unfolding mishaps, Hachiman was sure that his sentence would be slight or even a verbal warning.
"Weird. Why would they hold a conference for a slight sentence?" He grabbed the bottom of his chin, confused but sure that the so-called conference was regarding the troubles he caused.
"Ahh!" He screamed, messing up his hair in frustration. "I can't think right now." He stretched his legs and placed his arms between his crouch, resting on his thighs. "All I want is to see Miko." He looked down with sorrowful eyes.
"Lord of War, Hachiman God. I have information regarding your servant, Miko." The angel stood up behind the beautiful desk. Then, bowing down, she showed relief by letting him know her situation. "She's doing great and will be dismissed within moments."
"Really?" He inhaled, walking up to her. "Thank goodness." He exhaled. His face was bright, and relief was all his expressions. "Good grief, had me worried there." He smiled while thinking up another question.
"So, what's next?" His expression changed quickly. He was a little serious, yet he couldn't contain the happiness he felt.
"Hmm, right, your highness. The masters told me that your leave is approved." She sat down as a small spell circle appeared in both hands. "However..." She ate her own words, scared.
"However?" He questioned her.
"They also told me they will send a guide to bring you back for judgment, my lord." Her hands shook a bit while telling him the report.
"Hmm, I will be waiting." He said while she freed one hand and gestured for him to stand over a foot away from her desk.
A massive white spell circle appeared beneath his feet, different from others. Hachiman smiled and left a small note for the worried angel.
"Hey, no need to be so tense." He looked at her, staring at each other. "Fear not, for I am here to protect you." He told her, placing his hands on his hips. "After all, I don't tend to bite like other Gods." His eye twitched while thinking about Hakai. Smiling, the massive circle enlarged and expanded, engulfing him whole.
Wham!
As it came shrunk down to its original size, Hachiman had disappeared, and the spell circle vanished into a smiling and relieved angel. This transporting method differed from bridges, indicating that perhaps multiple other-dimensional transportation methods were available.
Wham!
The same spell circle that carried Hachiman appeared in a massive hospital. Again, a guard stood his ground. The guard patiently waited as it shrunk beneath Hachiman's feet and disappeared. Nurse wearing traditional nun-like clothing ran around, spelling circles by their ears as they seemed to be contacting each other. Chatter filled the room, and all were occupied by the injured recently returning from a Heavenly Mission.
"Pretty packed, won't you say?" Hachiman greeted the guard, looking around as nurses rushed into massive doors.
"Yes, my lord, Hachiman of War, I welcome you." The guard bowed, showing respect. "This way, my lord." He pointed to Hachiman, walking beside him, a little back. The guard walked him over to a different sliding door. Walking in front of Hachiman, he opened the door and allowed him to walk first.
"It'll be the third door to the right, your highness." The guard closed the door behind himself. Catching up beside Hachiman, the two walked three doors down. Hachiman faced Miko's room with excitement but was also anguished by what he had done.
"What should I say?" He thought to himself as the guard slid the door open. Without a thought, he stepped into the room to see Miko, seated in her bed, eating a tangerine. Looking over, she noticed Hachiman. A bright smile of relief and happiness washed over her. Caught off guard by her soft smile, Hachiman's eyes teared, and he uttered. "I'm sorry-" However, before he could apologize, her soothing voice welcomed him.
"My lord, welcome back." She titled her head, blushing with comfort.
"Miko-" Hachiman gasped with his tears streaming down. Then, sitting beside her, he rushed to hug his loyal servant.
"I'm back, Miko." He said with hiccups.
