"Keekeekee!" The figure behind the black torn hoodie coat laughed disturbingly. "Why waste our time, my darling lord!" He laughed around, throwing his arms up. "Oh, please. I guess I have to fight you." He took the hoodie off, revealing a two-faced humanoid. He grabbed his jacket by the shoulder from where the coat split and stripped it off himself.
"Bold of you to call this a fight." Hachiman looked down, disappointed.
"KeeKee!"
"You're right. After all, this is just a test for my newly acquired powers." He shoved it down Hachiman's face. As he stretched his human-like, a stick of negative energy formed.
Hachiman, caught by surprise as to why this evolved spirit could manipulate negative energy it harnesses from humans to such a degree, jaw dropped.
"Special ability?" He asked the phantom. Assessing the current situation, he noticed that the phantom's negative energy manipulation had flaws. "Hmm." He grunted as he held the Spear of Battle in front of him. Displaying it to the phantom, he nagged him to form his shaft into the shape of the Spear. "Manipulate that shaft and change its form to match my spear." He asserted his authority with a grin.
"Huh? Why do I have to?" The spirit titled its sideways faces to the left.
"Hah! I figured your negative energy manipulation is still ways to go." Hachiman brought back the Spear of battle by his side.
"Huh? You are such a nuisance!" Enraged, the spirit had veins running all over its face and neck. "Be ready to endure the Samsara!" His left eye on his right face suddenly popped to the front, and his right look on his left face suddenly popped to the front like the left eye.
"Gross." Hachiman looked deep into the phantom's dark eyes. "Scared?" He asked him, feeling the spirit's fear spike.
"Huh?" The spirit bit both his lower lips in anger.
"Kah!" He charged Hachiman with his shaft. Then, spinning, he swung the stick to strike Hachiman on the left knee.
Cling!
Hachiman stopped his materialized negative energy shaft with the long Spear's rod.
Realizing this, he began swinging wildly.
Cling!
The phantom tried to strike Hachiman on the jaw, but his flowing defensive made it impossible for the low-ranked spirit.
While the two sticks impacted multiple times, a question arose within Hachiman. "Your just a low-ranked evolved spirit. What gives any hope in defeating me?"
"This!" The spirit said while flying up a little and away from Hachiman.
His shaft once again became energy and formed a sphere.
"Shot bomb!" The spirit shouted as the sphere launched at Hachiman.
"Guah!" The massively large phantom behind Hachiman flew up to bite his legs. However, he dodged the incoming projectile that struck the unintelligent spirit.
Bam!
The strike pierced through the head of the phantom, and falling, it caused a massive shockwave, rippling through the streets of Tokyo.
Turning and looking down at the large phantom, the evolved spirit seized the chance. Coming down with force, he tried to strike Hachiman's skull with his new materialized rod, but Hachiman suddenly stopped his downward pressure. Then, struggling against the Spear, he backed up and dematerialized his rod for another special attack.
However, before he could even enchant the spell, Hachiman was against his face. Soon, he felt a sharp pain in his heart. Then, looking down, he realized Hachiman had pierced him through the heart.
"Huh?"
"Guf!" Blood gushed from his mouth, muffling his words.
"I thought I could kill you, but finally, I can disapp-" He tried to utter before Hachiman's ticked attitude performed the expelling spell.
"You of a rotten heart of negativity, disappear before my prayer!" Hachiman shouted a new and unique spell. A red magic circle appeared above the spirit, slowly coming down. It devoured its remains, and his ashes flew with the wind.
Tasked with the retrieval of the phantom, deep down, his newly acquired heart had no intention of harm. He only sought extinguishment by what his heart suddenly realized was his savior.
"I could feel his sorrow, but his taunting acts were all an act." Hachiman held the ashes of the spirit in his hand as they disappeared along with the washing wind.
Some in this world only seek forgiveness, but when they find nothing of such. Instead, they display an utter act of bravery against the overwhelming pressure, only to see an end to their misery.
"Ahh." Hachiman exhaled, looking down at the spirit.
"I need to get to Miko." He uttered as he flew down, Spear ahead of himself. He swung through the spirit's torn head, landing beside the head, taking a massive chunk off. Then, he expelled it from existence with the spell.
"Vanish." Hachiman enchanted, pressing his lips togehter. An enormous spell circle appeared in front of the spirit, and above it, a much larger wheel of divine writing appeared, extinguishing it slowly to nothingness.
At his disposal were all of these unique expelling spells. Hachiman could pick and choose depending on his mood. However, the expelling spells displayed different outcomes and purposes for each use.
The fight's aftermath only left a crack in the road below where the unintelligent spirit fused, buildings damaged, and no casualties. This was the best outcome, and now Hachiman's only thought was getting to Miko as soon as possible. His Spear vanished as he flew straight up into the sky. Reaching the stratosphere, he suddenly pressed his lips together and disappeared into the light.
