"A phantom with speech, huh? Hachiman repeated back while scratching his chin.
"Yeah, stating that evolution was a major role in his speech development," Hakai informed him as he sunk deeper into the hot water.
"Evolution? What kind do you think he was referring to?" Hachi pondered with his friend.
"Maybe he was talking about how being several years old, and due to his age, he consumed more negative energy than the rest?" Hakai proposed as he blew water bubbles from his mouth.
"Possible." Hachi agreed as he also sunk deeper into the water.
"Yet, I can't wrap my head around the idea of him possessing less negative energy than this spirit we defeated today," Hakai said with a frown.
While time passed, and the two soaked in water, Hachiman finally spoke again.
"Yeah, this spirit possessed a high amount of negative energy yet couldn't process things with a clear conscience," Hachi noted. "However, if what you say is true, then what if evolution meant a change in shape, conscience, and use of energy?" So Hachi proposed as he watched Hakai stand up.
"I don't understand it right now, but please inform the High Heavens," Hakai said as he felt his body cleanse and his wounds heal by the sacred fountain. "This feeling is beautiful!" He shouted as he stretched out. "Whatever the danger that lies ahead, I will fight it no matter what shape, size, or brains it might possess," Hakai said as Hachi kept a straight look at his back, it was a look of admiration. "After all, I'm the Protector Of Humanity!" He stated as he clenched his fist by his thighs.
"Hmm, we're counting on you, Hakai God." Hachiman encouraged him while lowering his head and smiling in confidence.
While Hakai left the holy water, his attention was grabbed by Hachi again. "Hey, stay the night." He said as he looked over at his friend with one eye.
"Nah, I will respect the voter's choice," Hakai said as he slid the door open.
"Hakai-" Hachiman uttered under his breath with a shocked look, looking over at him.
Hakai walked over to the newly laid clothes and reached out his arms to grab them, but suddenly he felt a strange gaze. "Who's there?" He asked as he looked over to the slightly open sliding door that led to the hall. "Show yourself!" Hakai demanded as he stood up straight.
"Sorry, lord Hakai." Miko peaked out and came into the dressing room with a blush.
"M-M-Miko-Chan!" He screamed while trying to cover his private area.
"It-its fine. I'm a service maiden. After all, these types of things don't bother me!" Miko yelled out as her cheeks flushed redder.
"D-D-Don't say it like that!" Hakai screamed as she turned around.
Miko's expression quickly changed as she realized Hakai's butt cheeks were round.
"Hey, your ass is nice." She commented with a blank look.
"Get out!" Hakai demanded, all while Hachiman watched from the sliding door.
"Wimp." He said while shaking his head.
"Shut up. Monkey depicted God!" Hakai mocked him.
While Miko ran behind the door, she closed it with an apology. "Sorry for the bother, excuse me." She screamed as she slammed the door and ran away.
"Hachi!" Hakai screamed. "I didn't mean to upset her..." He cried out.
"Hey, you, don't hang on to me while you're naked!" Hachiman leaned back while Hakai gripped on with his arms to his left side.
"I have to apologize!" Hakai cried as he got his arms off and went to the after-shower clothes with a sad look.
Looking over the seat a little more, he found his clothes cleaned and dry.
"Miko-Chan..." He uttered her name as he felt that he had upset her.
"Stop holding to the clothes and get dressed!" Hachi screamed at his friend with ferocity.
"Ahh, alright!" Hakai yelled back with an annoyed expression.

While they walked out of the room, they closed the door and headed for the main hall. As they slid the door open, Miko was there, ready to do as told.
"Take care, Hakai," Hachi said as he stood next to Miko.
"Miko-Chan, I apologize for my insolence," Hakai said as he stood over the bridge. He looked over at her with a heartbreaking look. Not able to help herself, she blushed.
"It's okay, lord Hakai, be careful!" She screamed as the whirl opened and consumed Hakai. However, before the bridge could even transfer his body, he left her with a slight smile, to which she responded with a slightly more visible blush.
Wham!
"Miko, you like Hakai, don't you?" Hachiman asked his servant.
"What!" Miko sounded as she looked over at him. Then, patting her on top of her head with a slight force, he smiled and left. "Good luck!" He encouraged her as he went through the main hall.

"Where to sleep, now!" Hakai said as he landed in Hachiman's central shrine. "Should I just doze off here?" He asked himself as he remarked on a particular incident.
{Flashback}
"Hey, you, child of calamity, leave this area this instant!" An aged man demanded as he threw a rock at a child around twelve years old. Unfortunately, the decent-sized rock hit the child on the left side of his forehead, immediately injuring him.
"Ow." The child held his head in pain. "Blood?" He uttered as he seemed lost. "Blood-" He reacted with a dazed look. "Where am I? Who am I?" He asked himself as he kept staring into his palm.
"You bastard, leave!" The aged man began showering the child with whatever sized rock he could get his hands on.
Hitting the child in multiple places forced him away. Then, running for security, he tripped and fell face first. Skiing through the ground, he got a friction burn on his abdomen and chest, tearing up his shirt.
While he got up, he found shelter, a small cave created by a rock. While on his way to it, he found a bunch of large leaves. Grabbing them, he went inside.
"Ow ow." He expressed as he tried to tend to his wounds with a leave he grabbed while taking shelter. Then, while holding the leaf up to his forehead, he slowly murmured with tears in his eyes. "I'm so lonely, Ama."
