"Hi ... honey. How are you? How did you get here? With Lisa or Reuben?" Lyon exclaimed suddenly to a three-year-old girl who ran towards him. Exclaimed hysterically with joy and then hugged Lyon's legs tightly.
"Chia ... fine. Lisa is in there." said the little girl cheerfully. Her long, manicured hair was scattered because the little girl was jumping up and down asking to be carried to Lyon.
"Really? Hmm, are you asking to carry it?" Lyon laughed cheerfully to the little girl named Chia. Then Lyon swiftly put Chia on his wide back.
Petra just remained silent watching the scenery full of warmth. Inwardly, Petra wondered who the hell is Lisa? Is the Lisa that Lyon means today the same Lisa that Lyon's parents talked about last night? Or another Lisa?
However, putting aside who exactly is someone named Lisa and the little girl named Chia who suddenly appeared out of nowhere, Petra was shocked by Lyon's behavior, who seemed very happy to meet Chia. The two of them were playing on one of the sofas in the corner of the spacious building lobby.
One other thing, Petra saw Lyon's natural bright smile when he was with the little girl who had now moved on to Lyon's lap. A natural bright smile that Petra had never seen before. The smile that only Lyon can give with that adorable little girl without Lyon knowing it herself.
Until the drizzle outside turned into heavy rain, Lyon stuck in the lobby longer than Petra expected. The scheduled golf practice had to be postponed due to the heavy rain which was now accompanied by strong winds.
Petra took one of the chairs in another corner of the lobby, it was quite far from Lyon and Chia. There is more to Petra than just standing there watching the childish scenes between Lyon and Chia that seem like they will never end.
Petra had to do her homework first before she could touch the financial reports that had been a headache since last night. Second, Petra must be able to ensure that the balance sheets of these messy financial reports are balanced and fix them as best as Petra can. Third, all these tasks made Petra's head throb so much that it felt like she was going to explode in an instant.
Fourth, Petra suddenly felt very hungry because of the cold caused by the incessant heavy rain without any sign that it would continue to flush Metropol, and unfortunately, it only made Petra's headache worse.
Petra walks down the hallway of the building looking for a canteen or cafe that sells food to prop Petra's stomach because of his increasing hunger. And Petra almost gave up because she couldn't find any food vendors after walking for a long time down the alleyways of the five-story building. Until a small hand suddenly touched Petra's left wrist. Held Petra's footsteps to stop walking immediately.
"Where are you going?" screeched a loud voice that came from a little girl with tiny hands.
"Chia? Eh ... that ... brother was looking for food vendors but could not find it either." Petra
replied, confused. How could Chia, whom Petra had seen playing jokes with Lyon, was now following him and then without hesitating to talk to Petra?
"It's up there," said Chia while pointing upstairs with the index finger of her left hand. Petra
felt very stupid because the little girl in front of him knew more about the area of the building that Petra was currently standing on than he did. Like your own home.
"Can Chia show you the way to brother?" Petra asked politely to Chia with a big smile in return, showing a row of clean, well-groomed teeth. Inevitably, Petra smiled broadly to see Chia smiling like that.
"Come on. Let's go ..." Chia cheered happily.
Chia held Petra's left hand tightly, walked around to an elevator on the left side of the building not far from where Petra was. Then they got into the empty elevator to the fifth floor. Arriving at the top floor of the building, after the elevator doors open and they walk out to one of the cafeterias that are lined with decorations of various seasonal themes from around the world.
As the number of floors of the building, so is the number of cafeterias on the fifth floor. Each cafeteria carries one season theme of the four seasons in the world and another is a cafeteria with the words VVIP beside the entrance.
Petra firmly believed that if the cafeteria was only intended for certain people, it was not him and if Petra forced himself into the cafeteria he would not have been able to pay the price of the food listed on the menu book.
Chia ran towards a cafeteria where several snow dolls were and reindeer are beautifully displayed, forming a pose taken from one of the scenes from the popular snow-themed animated film. Not forgetting that there are various shapes of colorful lights adorning the parts of the dolls, making Chia stop her footsteps towards one of the snow dolls while staring closely at her.
Petra could only surrender to follow where the little girl made her choice. Then Petra stood next to Chia, watching the snowman that was smaller than the others.
"Chia likes snow dolls?" said Petra trying to familiarize herself with Chia who was still staring at the snow doll almost without batting an eye. It was as if the snowman would disappear from Chia's eyes if she didn't continue to be noticed.
"No. Chia hates snow. Papa always goes where there is snow on distant continents," said Chia slowly.
"I see ... but Chia's papa went there to work right? Papa Chia worked for Chia too right?" Petra said, then bent over to look at Chia's face, which immediately turned grim.
"Chia wants daddy to work here," Chia said again with a voice like holding back the tears that could shatter at any time.
"Alright. We should eat now, ok ... my brother is very hungry," said Petra while patting his small stomach then making an expression of a hungry person in front of Chia. Suddenly made Chia smile then laughed softly.
"Chia wants ice cream and snow candy." Chia chattered, pulling Petra's right hand into the cafeteria and immediately running towards the ice cream and candy stands.
After ordering food for herself, Petra walked over to Chia, who had been confused about her choice. What kind of ice cream will Chia order. What color snow candy would Chia want to eat.
The various colors and flavors displayed on the booth banner made Chia only more confused.
"Sis ... Chia wants to eat everything, can you?" whined Chia, tugging Petra's arm that was holding her purse.
"Uh ... wait a minute," argued Petra, worried about Chia's request which Petra found impossible to comply with.
There isn't enough in Petra's wallet right now to buy all the flavors of ice cream and snow candy Chia asked for.
