After going through a long debate between Petra and Chia to choose which ice cream and snow candy Chia can buy, which of course has to match the remaining amount of money in Petra's wallet. Because previously Petra had used his pocket money for two weeks to buy his dinner.
Because of that, Petra had to make massive savings on his spending money and pocket money for the next two weeks. Petra will later make adjustments to the weekly budget to buy groceries. It was also possible that Petra had to fast for a few days because the prices of food and snacks in the winter cafeteria were too high for Petra.
Just buying food and snacks for Chia drained all of Petra's wallet. An extraordinary experience for Petra. It was the first time in Petra's life to realize how valuable money was and how expensive life in Metropol was.
"Here's the vanilla ice cream Chia asked for," said Petra while handing a medium-sized cup to Chia, who was sitting pretty in her chair.
"Thank you, sis," Chia said, immediately scooping her favorite ice cream and then putting it into Chia's smallmouth. Like a child who eats voraciously from hunger. Even the real hungry Petra lost badly.
"Slow down Chia ... you'll choke on ice cream later," Petra advised while trying to wipe Chia's cheeks which were covered in ice cream.
"It's delicious sis. It's been a long time Chia hasn't eaten ice cream." Chia's story between meals.
"Really?" Petra investigated in disbelief. How can a child today not be able to eat his favorite food freely? What kind of parent could make the cute little girl beside him not eat ice cream or snow candy?
"Yes," Chia replied quickly, afraid that her ice cream would melt.
Then nodded to reassure Petra. Making Chia's long hair flowing down the snow candy that Chia is holding in her left hand.
Petra chuckled at Chia's very funny behavior. However, Petra could not ask the little girl about the reason why Chia could be like that. Because that means Petra has to dig deeper about the information about Chia's family that Petra doesn't know who they are.
Enough to know each other's names to the limit for now. There was still a lot more Petra had to do today, instead of spending time with a little girl named Chia who somehow came to a place like this, a golf club.
Petra let Chia play in the corner of the cafeteria play area while she was busy doing the piling-up homework. Almost an hour passed until Petra finally finished her homework. And when Petra looked to the corner of the cafeteria, there was still Chia, who seemed tirelessly playing with other children her age. Play with various kinds of children's games.
Petra breathed a sigh of relief for some reason, too. Maybe because Chia is still there safely so that it is time for Lyon to come and ask about Chia, Petra can answer Lyon. Or maybe it was because the little girl had never even come over to Petra's table to bother her studying. I have no idea. Petra couldn't be sure.
"Chia ..." shouted someone from the door of the cafeteria.
The sound is loud enough to make all cafeteria visitors turn towards the door to see who owns the sound that disturbs the ears.
There, in front of the cafeteria entrance, stood a woman in her early thirties. The woman was wearing a golf club uniform with the logo -KL- short sleeves in white gradation turquoise and maroon trousers.
The woman is still holding the ball bat. And, from the way he called Chia, who was both worried and upset, it could be ascertained that this woman was Chia's mother, who must be confused looking for her daughter's whereabouts.
"Mama ..." Chia exclaimed in reply to her mother's call from the door. Chia then ran over to the woman who now Petra was sure that she was Chia's mother.
The woman bent down so Chia could whisper something in her mother's ear. Not long after, they came over to Petra, who was still busy with reports and balance sheets.
"Miss, thank you for taking care of my son Chia. Usually, he never bothered other people like this," said Chia's mother in a soft voice.
That woman, Chia's mother, is very beautiful. A white woman with black hair in a ponytail sticking out the back of her golf cap. Her posture was slender and her face reminded Petra of someone. But unfortunately, Petra couldn't remember who it was.
What Petra knew was that she had seen someone whose face resembled Chia's mother. Beautiful, graceful, and charming full of courtesy.
"It is okay madam. After all ... Chia is a kind and obedient child. Chia doesn't bother me with studying at all, "answered Petra honestly.
Meeting and talking with a woman who has an air like royalty makes Petra embarrassed and confused. Petra wasn't used to hanging out with people like them. Petra had only seen them from a distance, with no intention of wanting to get to know them closer.
However, thanks to Lyon who is nowhere to be at the moment, Petra has an unexpected day, always.
"I see. So who did you come here with?" asked Chia's mother again.
The gaze of the woman was assessing Petra from head to toe. Looking for a clue who knows what. Petra was sure that it was not a good thing. At least for Petra herself.
"With school friends," Petra replied shortly.
Petra didn't dare to follow Chia's eyes or just stare back as if what Petra was going to do was known to this beautiful woman.
"Lyn ... mama, here is Lyn," whined Chia, tugging at her mother's right arm.
"Lyn is here? Really? Where is Lyn now?" Chia's mother smacked her child after hearing Chia's words about someone named Lyn.
"Down below. Playing. Was with this brother." Chia replied then pointed at Petra.
Chia's mother automatically looked back at Petra. Tilted my head and remained silent, as if deep in thought about something Petra couldn't guess what it was.
"Are you coming with Lyn?" Chia's mother asked at last after being silent for fifteen seconds.
"Lyn who?" squealed Petra, not understanding what Chia's mother meant.
"Oh yes ... I mean Lyon. You came with Lyon?" Chia's mother chuckled, a natural light laugh that showed a row of clean, well-groomed teeth. Just like Chia.
They, mother and child who looked so much like Petra, thought to himself.
"Lyn meant Lyon? Yeah right. Right now he's ... maybe on the golf course." Petra replied, beginning to understand the nickname that Chia's mother gave to Lyon.
"So ... what did my sister offer you this time?" said Chia's mother in a serious tone to Petra.
Whatever it was, Petra had never expected to meet the rest of the Levi family on this tough Thursday.
