Chapter 11 - LGfM 11 Levi

Apart from sociology, Petra also really likes reading world maps or playing with the globe in the school practicum room. This Petra did none other than because of Petra's interest in the world and to memorize the names of all the districts in the sovereign territory of Mestonia and countries in other parts of the world. According to Petra, this can help to better understand the lessons in the Metropol High School Social class.

One city that has piqued Petra's curiosity from a long time ago, when Petra was still in elementary school, was a district town in one corner of Mestonia named Seriz. How not, Seriz is the only city in the world that is reserved only for those jetset. The billionaires who run out of ideas in activities spend money. Seriz, the city of the rich and the bourgeoisie. And now Petra is in town thanks to Lyon.

In the past, when Petra imagined the city of Seriz he wondered whether all parts and corners of the city were made of gold and diamonds so that only the rich could live there. However, when Petra tries to look around the street from inside the car to confirm his argument, it turns out that everything looks the same as any other city in Mestonia. There is nothing special about the city of Seriz.

"Do you think Seriz is filled with rock crystal carvings or something?" said Lyon as if he could read Petra's mind about his curiosity about the city of Seriz.

"Maybe." cried Petra briefly. Shame because he caught his cheeky behavior in front of Lyon.

"Seriz was built for the seven founding families of Mestonia, so now you know why Seriz is so closed off to strangers other than their clan," said Lyon.

"Really? Why isn't that written in the history books?" thought Petra as if asking himself. Now Petra understood a little that no matter how hard she tried to find out about all things related to the city of Seriz, it just ended up in nothing. Seriz has too many secrets.

"Are you stupid or naive? Such a shameful thing would they possibly reveal to the world. It will only show that the seven clans are very greedy and selfish." sighed Lyon in an insulting tone.

"But ... you are also part of one of the seven families right? Young master Levi?" hooks the cynical Petra, who suddenly gets hooked by the word 'selfish' that Lyon just said.

Lyon only turned his face towards the car window when he heard Petra's words, which the girl meant as an insinuation rather than a compliment. However, Lyon could not show it. Lyon, is also part of the seven families that Petra is referring to.

Lyon, more than anyone else, knows very well about the track record of the Levi family - their extended family - from the beginning of the Commonwealth of Mestonia after the fifth world war which occurred fifty years ago. For Lyon, Mestonia is nothing but a puppet state under the authority of the World Peace Council (DPD).

Starting from rot to how to cover it up that the Levi family has been doing until now. Remembering things like that will only make Lyon's appetite disappear and reluctant to live his life as Lyonardo Levi, a descendant of the third generation of the Levi clan.

"Better watch your words," argued Lyon felt unhappy.

Lyon usually never really cares about what other people say to him, but it will be a different story when it comes to mentioning the big name of the Levi family. Whether it's because of a compliment to sarcasm. Lyon hated that very much. His hatred is ingrained. A hatred that created by itself without Lyon knowing it. The hatred was formed due to the treatment of his parents towards him from childhood. That makes Lyon unable to get the love of parents like children at his age.

"Fine. Do we have a long way to go?" Petra replied, trying to change the subject. Petra realizes that what he said just now has touched Lyon's feelings. Petra could tell from Lyon's gesture which was unsettled.

The car they were riding in slowly slowed down. They were now entering a large gray gate. Going deeper, they were greeted by palm trees lined up to the right and left along the five hundred meters. Then slowly the car pulled up to a car garage near a huge white three-story house, more like a palace to Petra.

In her heart, Petra named the house 'palace of cherries'. Petra is very fond of fairy tales. The fairy tale that Mia's aunt always told her before going to bed. Beautiful fairy tales for children like her, the orphan Petra. A fairy tale about a white palace full of trees Sakura, where there live seven beautiful daughter siblings who live happily all their lives.

At that time, for Petra, these fairy tales were a special consolation for the sadness of the loss of her parents whom Petra could no longer remember. Even the photos of Petra's parents being engulfed in flames did not remain in the fire tragedy.

"This is ... my parents' house. So, I hope you can take care of your attitude and speech. Don't say anything if necessary. Let me answer if they ask you. We'll just take the reports and leave right away. Okay? " dictation of Lyon as they walked towards the terrace of the house.

"Good," Petra replied briefly, making Lyon immediately stop his footsteps and stare at Petra suspiciously.

"Good. I hope that happens," said Lyon with a full emphasis on every word.

In silence, they entered the mansion. They were greeted by two male servants with purple ties, escorting Lyon and Petra to the all-white nuances of the living room on the right side of the building.

The atmosphere is so tense for Petra, who is visiting the house of Lyon's parents for the first time, the home of a wealthy man who is also one of the founding pillars of Mestonia who is hidden in history lessons in schools. Therefore, in Petra's mind, she imagined that she was dreaming of being in a white moon palace in one of the fairy tales that Mia's aunt had told Mia as a child.

The living room door squeaked quite loudly when one of the male servants in front of Petra tried to open it and invited the two of them into the room. The living room walls were no longer the nuances of white paint like the hallways that Petra had been passing, but rather a soft lavender color that soothed Petra's tired eyes.

On one of the sofas in the corner of the living room sit two women and men whom Petra believes to be Lyon's mother's father. They smiled kindly at Petra. They then invited Petra to sit on one of the sofas in front of Lyon's mother. Then ask the waiter to bring drinks and some snacks.

"Father, mother ... what's wrong with you? Why did you bother welcoming me this time?" raise Lyon with a tone of voice that does not like it.

"What's the matter? You came home with a friend here. It's been a long time since the last time you came home with a friend, Lyon." Lyon's mother said in a soft voice. The voice of a mother who is caring and longing for her son.

"She's Petra. She's not my friend ... but she's my future wife," said Lyon which suddenly made Petra feel that there was a flash of lightning striking his heart.

If what Petra heard was not a dream, of course now Petra felt like the fruit of simalakama had been dropped on him on purpose.
