The news of a monster among people spread fastly from one mouth to another, and soon it reached to Barthes who did not expect it.
"How can that fool get caught so easily? No, no people might be just bluffing since they got suspicious of his sudden presence."
He shook his head and began to work with the prior stuff before fire Jeremy came back.
It was the moment he felt something beeping in the lounge, following the voice cautiously Barthes picked up a small ball.
"What is this? And where did it come from?"
He had never seen the blue glass ball of about a pea size, as soon as he touched an image popped out of it.
Barthes fell back on his butt after seeing the digital image of Artemis running towards the damp forest.
"Barthes, if you are listening to this it means I'm in trouble and have gotten exposed. Don't ask me how and when, you have to save me."
Artemis' voice emerged from the bubble while Barthes saw a running vision from Jeremy's eyes. He immediately deciphered that it was the particular forest and Artemis was indeed in trouble calling for him.
"But how the heck did this brat manage to contact me?"
Barthes lifted the ball after the image had dissipated, somehow Axela was able to connect with the bubble.
"What even is this sorcery?
He was shocked for sure because the people of planet Nrutas had already forgotten the wonders of technology.
Nonetheless he set out to search for him and found Jeremy sitting on the tree.
"Hey, you brat! Do you know what chaos have you created?"
Barthes yelled at him and Artemis immediately jumped back down.
"Hey, hey, I did not know something like this would happen."
Artemis pouted and narrated the whole story to him which put Barthes into a tricky situation.
"You have to leave from here now, the citizens know about you and will definitely search the forest too."
He searched around and handed over his spear to Artemis.
"Listen to me carefully, there is a portal somewhere on this planet which is a gateway to the other worlds….just find it and leave."
He stood up to leave the spot of the forest immediately.
"Leave the rest to me, I will try to keep the people engaged for tonight. Leave in the dark so nobody sees you."
With his last words he forbade goodbye and left.
[So the gateway does exist somewhere on this planet. All we have to do is to find it now.]
'Wait!'
Jeremy was still processing the information gotten from him and knew he had missed some point.
'If the planet has some gateway between the worlds then it should be somewhere hidden but at some important place.'
[Yes, you are right. But where it could be?]
'Let's stay here for a few hours to figure out things, and I need to meditate a little to make sure I get a lot of energy stored.'
They both agreed and stayed there, whereas Barthes went back to the town with a knife dipped into blood.

Back on the earth Jerome was unsettled in his office after getting the news that the system fitted in Jeremy's wrist had gone off.
'I know you are alive, Jeremy. But where the heck are you?'
Jerome was in his office while his clone stood besides him as usual.
"The chief is coming, master."
Jerome immediately clicked on his wrist and his whole attire changed the color, and a hood appeared to hide his face.
After permitting the chief inside the clone closed the door, it was supposed to serve as Jerome's secretary. After all, the man could not trust anybody else considering that he had the powerful ideas in his hands.
Although they were stolen!
"We have located the whereabouts of subject 45001, sir."
The chief who was clad in blue uniform with a badge of the most advanced technological corporate….the man informed his boss.
Jerome did not speak instead he gestured with his hand to encourage the chief to go on.
"We have found the chemical signals of activation of regeneration, which we had tested on the subject. It's coming from planet Nrutas."
The information shocked him and knocked some sense into Jerome.
'Fuck! He was right under my nose and I could not even recognize him.'
The chief resumed his speech and asked for further commands.
"It is certainly a coincidence that he got the same tag number this time too."
He shoved the glass tab towards Jerome, who skimmed through the files and saw the player's picture.
'When did he get younger? How is this even possible? Is this some kind of side effect of the cell regenerating experiment?'
Every possible thought crossed his mind which could have helped Jeremy shrink into his teen days. But Jerome has never seen his teenage life so he had no idea if Jeremy shrank or his identity got changed.
"What are the next commands for us, sir?"
The chief slightly bowed and requested for the next plan. Jerome took a few silent moments before passing out the next strategy.
"Send a jury of experts to bring him back alive, no one is allowed to hurt him."
His voice hot stern and the chief nodded before taking his leave.
'How did he even manage to sneak away. I have to bring him back, the pet must stay in the cage to avoid the poachers and hunters.'
Jerome meaningfully stared at the tab and knew that if the word of Jeremy being alive went out, somebody would sure hunt him down.
