"damn it, kid!" I yelled as he fell to the ground, "I gotta use healing magic or he might bleed out, damn I shouldn't have told him to fight the deer alone what was I thinking?!" I cursed myself as I used the highest tier healing magic I could which was only tier three but it was better than nothing, as I used the magic the wounds started to heal at a very slow rate, the holes were one inch wide and three inches deep, I'm lucky the healing worked at all, as I thought that the wound closed forming a scab, it wasn't the best but it would have to do, I picked up the kid and started to run down the hill back to our camp,
As I arrived I opened my tent and put him down on the sleeping bag I laid out the other day, I sighed a breath of relief seeing his steady breathing, then I thought about what happened, I shivered, not from what happened to him but what he did, as the antlers were in his arms he had a smile like it was the most exciting thing to ever happen to him, I stared at him wondering one thing, why?

-Gwyn's point of view-
I woke up in an unfamiliar place, I stared at the brown roof of the tent I tried to rub my head as I had a horrible headache, but as I did my arm didn't move I tried again but the same result, I looked down to see two makeshift braces on both of my arms, I remembered what happened the deer punctured my arms and tried to finish me but Teacher killed it before it could
then I smelled something good, I got up and tore the braces off causing a slight shot of pain to go through my body but I didn't reject it I welcomed it but I don't know why, as the pain subsided I walked outside to see the red deer, I jolted back only to realise it was headless and near a fire, I found the good smell it was the horned rabbit that Teacher had hunted
"oh, you're awake how're you feeling?" Teacher asked while getting up from cooking the rabbit
"I'm fine" I replied looking at the deer in amazement, the head had been cleanly cut from the rest of the body 'how did he cut it so cleanly? It looks like someone put the deer into a guillotine!'
Teacher noticed me looking at the deer and said with a smile "don't worry once I'm done with you you'll be able to do that too"
I replied "ok, I trust you but teach me the basics first"
He laughed "right, right, we will start after eating" I nodded
