Though for a fraction of second, she fancied the Alpha fondling her but immediately ceased that thought.
She lowered her eyes and avoided eye contact with the Alpha. But soon enough, she raised her head to look at her father and mother to see their reaction on what the Alpha had just said.
They too were as disgusted as Martha on Alpha remarks. Cindy gnashed in anger while her face turned red, though she didn't have the courage or the strength to raise a voice against Alpha.
On the other hand, Benjamin bore an expression of sheer rage against the one standing right in front of him. His body was trembling with anger and his eyes conveyed only one thought – to fight and eventually die for the safety of his daughter.
Yet he remained at the same spot he was at and spoke with much anger in his voice, "Neither we are fulfilling our obligations nor are you.
So it would be better if you shut your mouth and let us leave this place for good" Cindy seemed a bit disturbed as soon as she realized that the werewolves wouldn't be considering fulfilling their obligations.
The Alpha werewolf spoke with disappointment, "I do not remember the last time I had to argue so much with someone.
You see, never got used to it. Do not have me go on convincing you for one thing over and over again.
Leave behind your daughter as an act of your obligation which we had decided from the beginning and I shall let you two live on my part of obligation.
You see, I have modified my obligation a bit.
There shall be no more talking now" Alpha began to leave. Only a couple of steps were taken by Alpha that Benjamin again yelled at it, "I refuse to do so! You fucking scoundrel! I am not handing you over my daughter no matter what.
And you better listen to me that I am taking my wife and daughter along with me for good" Alpha however remained calm but Ronan and the other werewolf that stood on the staircase were barely able to restrict their anger.
Ronan attempted to approach Benjamin and rip him off into two pieces but Alpha wanted to give the couple a last chance to escape from there.
As soon as he sensed Ronan was about to move ahead, Alpha groaned which prompted Ronan to halt itself and do not advance further.
The werewolf on the staircase too noticed this act of Alpha and Ronan and chose not to attack the man since it would have to face the wrath of Alpha afterwards.
But it still carried the anger within itself and so did Ronan.
It sought a way to let out his anger by offending Benjamin which could compel him to approach it and then let him make the first move so that it can make the second and last move. "Not a bad idea" it thought.
The werewolf, now standing on the fifth step from the ground, spoke,
" I do not see you in a position to make decision yourself Benjamin" Benjamin turned his furious gaze towards the staircase as the other werewolf spoke to him. "Rather, you should be glad Alpha is freeing you just by asking for your daughter.
At least think for the sake of your daughter. How lucky she would feel to have Alpha on top of her every day" Hearing this, Benjamin got infuriated beyond imagination.
He began to approach the staircase but the werewolf didn't seem to stop messing with Benjamin with its words. Benjamin's eyes were glued to the werewolf on the staircase and nothing other than that.
As soon as he had begun to move towards the werewolf, Cindy held Benjamin's right hand tight by both of her hands when almost at the same time, the werewolf again spoke,
"This is a sheer waste of time Alpha. Had these two morons understand your deal earlier, by this time they have had began retrieving and you would have derived some pleasure out of this girl after taking her to your room"
Benjamin pulled out his hand from Cindy's grip with much force and sped towards the werewolf on the staircase. He rushed towards it with one of his hand raised and placed ahead of his torso.
It was positioned in a way as to lock on to the neck of the werewolf immediately when it comes into its range and ultimately choke him to death. The werewolf on the staircase smirked as it saw Benjamin coming closer to it.
It prepared its claw as he braced to give a massive blow on his body. Cindy knew what was about to happen and did her best to stop Benjamin from doing something which he should not do. She screamed his name, "Benjamin" in the loudest manner possible.
She wanted to convey through her high pitched voice that she is meaning to prevent him from doing something he should not do in the worst of his dreams.
But Benjamin, as fatherly as he is, couldn't tolerate the remarks passed by the werewolf on his daughter and under compulsion of the rage that drove him, had only one task in his mind, to wipe out even the slightest of life that remain in the demon in front of him.
He continued in his pursuit while Cindy kept on shouting his name.
She didn't plan to move ahead and stop her husband by force since she knew this would not be possible.
Cindy instead wanted Benjamin to stop by hearing her pleas and this is why she pleaded in a crying manner to let him know how desperately she wanted to stop him from his pursuit. Martha too was disgusted as well as horrified on the remarks passed by the werewolf and her father's pursuit respectively.
She, in her own mind, prayed to her father to stop. Though internally, she pleaded so intensely that without her knowing, she was slowly whispering her mind, "Please daddy, don't do this, please!"
Both Cindy's and Martha's calls were now too late to be comprehended and acted upon by Benjamin. He has gotten quite close to the demonic figure.
