Chereads / Love you Sweety / Chapter 10 - Hearing phones

Chapter 10 - Hearing phones

It was not a surprise for Jasmin's team to win the game, the only drawback being Sweety came to the final clue which was basket ball court, a little too late.

A boy who was in the same team as Sweety, demanded on her arrival, "Where were you? How could you be so dumb to not get here as per the clues?!"

"What's the point of scolding her when it was because of you we did not win." Another boy came to her rescue fortunately because she was not getting a reasonable excuse to answer that. "If this idiot Baban had not taken a loo break, we could have looked for Sweety and helped her."

"Don't blame me for all that! I was in need to release so bad..." Baban countered when being under limelight.

The conversation shifted there onwards, after a while, they began playing with basket ball to pass time. Sweety went to the guy, "Thank you. Uh, I should be sorry."

"Don't worry. It was just a game. They will talk today and forget tomorrow. By the way, what sort of a puzzle did you get to not find your way?"

At that, Sweety was reminded of the moment in classroom. Never had she imagined a simple place as a classroom to ignite such memories. All because of that experiment teacher.

"Uh..I was-"

"Congratulations in the tow, how are my loves? Did you have a great time? Oh no need to answer that. Just I hope you didn't use the game as an excuse for hook ups."

Mr. Wilson eyed a few of them testingly, to their surprise there were indeed some guilty ones admitting it by looking away shyly.

"Okay... I really hoped I was joking of that. Anyways. As long as no one saw, you're alive and good to go," winking at the guys, he instantly became the most likeable teacher the class could have. Even Sweety could not stop her lips from stretching in a goofy smile as she watched Baban and some other guys she didn't know names of yet, they were all laughing.

During the time of dispersal for lunch, Sweety did not wait to acknowledge him or say him bye for the day.

Much to say, it hurt him a lot. A lot to his ego actually. He just blamed it on the girl's attitude though.

Since he did not eat lunch in school because of their weird dishes. It was only yesterday when he saw a man eating rice from a bowl of water. The scene was so bizarre to look, he immediately left to have a street burger instead.

"I think he is cheating on me. Why else would he not come to eat with me?"

Rob was seated in a McD stall when he happened to listen in some girls behind him.

"Don't worry Riya, he could be really busy." Her friend consoled.

He could imagine the pouting look the girlfriend must be having.

"I wish I could check that now. He is so close to his professor Mam that he shares everything with her! And the worst part, she is a divorcee!"

He sighed at the type of conversation with such insecure girls. Stuffing the last of his delicious burger, he paid his order.

When he turned to glance at the table with three girls, one of them overly whimpering, he looked away at the kind of girls he was surrounded with.

Thinking of them, he went past all girls he encountered who were at least one percent sensible for him to remember them.

He tried.

He really tried.

But other than praising them for giving him a good rush in bed, he could not search for another reason.

Well, it could be because he never indulged in emotions with them.

Shrugging, he entered back inside the school when he saw cameras located on every particular corner of this place.

Impersonating someone else was already bad, showing up into these camera recordings was worse. He needed to get hold of them soon.

Tyler began calling him, fouling his mood just viewing his caller name. He did not pick up.

Throwing the phone on ground he sat under a bulky tree trunk which must have stood there for a century.

After several times of Tyler to not be able to reach him, a voicemail erupted on its own. Scowling, Rob picked his phone to shut it.

'Don't you dare try to avoid me you thief! Know it, if I can be patient, I won't be long from being impatient. Bring me the locket and quit daydreaming before I destroy you.' His voice ended with a desperate angry end.

That was supposed to happen since he was working on a dwindling iceberg. Which could drown and disappear like his career.

Rob had done some background check on Tyler and he found his job to be in jeopardy. To this time, he was confused whether he should pity on his ex-friend or not care at all.

"Who will destroy you?" His trail of thinking broke apart as he heard her voice, it was amazing how he didn't have to turn to know who was she. But that was not the part to think of currently.

Sweety walked ahead stopping in front of him, her eyes demanding him to answer as he gulped staring her face above.

Out of nowhere he started laughing. And loud that he laughed!

"Destroy? Haha..., who will destroy me Sweety." Sweety knew he did not say her name but it was an endearing. From years and years of listening her unusual name from people's mouth told her 'what' clearly.

"Oh... that came as a suited rhyme."

"It's not a rhyme." She defied strongly. "I came to tell you Sir Samuel was looking for you. He said you have some unfinished business with him."

Sir Samuel?

That Samuel!

Ugh.

"What?" He again looked up to her query. This time he craned his neck unable to understand.

"Your expression changed from thoughtful to surprising and now a foul one. I didn't know you thought like this for such a nice teacher." With that she went away leaving him in awe.

"Yeah right! Teach all expressions to my students on my behalf! And if he is so nice then chose him as your teacher!" He was unsure if she listened to him. She did not even pause once to acknowledge that.

"Witch." He muttered at her. Angrily, he made call to Tyler. That sadist picked his phone only in the last ring.

"I was going to disconnect it by now."

"Really? Someone seemed to do exactly that a few minutes ago." Tyler replied in sarcasm.

He got to the point. "You won't mind if I get privy into that girl's life, yes?"

"I gave you the earphones for the very purpose. Listen to what she is doing, find a situation and get the locket at right timing."

"Yeah..." That was usually the plan. But he had more things to cause havoc on before leaving the girl to her demise. "I want more time. At least a month. And do send me some coffee. I can't work my mind without."

"But-"

He hung up. For the first time since his arrival, he took out the sophisticated hearing devices, fixing them to his ears which buzzed on activation.
