As snow slowly dropped into the snow glazed streets, continuously filling the roads. A young man could be seen standing by himself in the middle of a broken down city, surrounded by a herd of monsters closing in on him.
There were countless monsters, all charging at him with the same intent. To kill. There was no where to run, only engage.
They were all strong. Some tall, full of fat or few even being completely shredded. They were the type of monsters which would make someone prefer a zombie apocalypse over dealing with them.
Each of them had skills and were a high level, the young man could tell. And to make things worse, his left hand was injured, probably dislocated.
He took in a deep breath before slowly letting it out as he charged at the nearest monster to his right. As it was right ahead of him, a single word resounded in the back of his head. 'Emulate'
Suddenly, his body forcefully initiated a move which involved him simultaneously swinging his knife diagonally in both ways forming an X cut on the victim.
Before the blood could even spurt out of the monster, the man sent a kick straight at it, sending it flying through the herd, knocking some of the monsters down.
He then quickly rushed at the next monster beside him, and swung his knife straight at it's neck, slicing it clean in one motion.
'Ignore kill messages' The man thought to himself before his next move
He took advantage of his speed and one by one, monsters began to drop as they were cleanly cut on their neck. They began dropping like flies, he would avoid any swings and strike back the second after, in their vital points.
However, the more he took down, the harder it got. He only had one arm and his energy was limited. Two monsters then suddenly charged in from the front and behind, causing him to leap to the side, on to the chest of another monster, before using it as footing and leaping straight at the two monsters which charged at him.
'Emulate'
He went right past them slashing their necks off with the momentum and sharpness as he emulated a rotating slash. He then landed straight on to the monster in front of him with his knife submerged into it's chest, piercing one of it's hearts.
Following that, he used the same monster's chest as footing before he jumped straight at the monster behind them, piercing it straight in it's heart.
But that was his mistake, to kill these monsters you either had to go for the head or finish off all of it's hearts. And the one he had stabbed definitely had more than one.
Without bothering to pull out the knife, he quickly created a new one out of thin air and slashed at the monster's arms.
It groaned out it pain, as it leaned back and in that instant, he thrust the knife straight into it's head, before slamming it down on the ground, completely finishing it off.
Suddenly he was grabbed from the sides by another monster but in that instant, he instinctively sent a kick straight at it's head.
*Thud*
It had no effect. It was completely unparsed.
'Oh Shi-'
It then grabbed the young man's leg before raising him alongside it to the air and slamming him down.
*Crash!*
It repeated this, and the other monster's began to close in. They were too strong.
The monster began twisting his leg in an attempt to break it and tear it off.
*BOOM!*
But before it could, it's head suddenly exploded to pieces causing it to let go of the young man and drop to the floor.
The young man had formed a sniper rifle at close range and placed the nuzzle in it's mouth before pulling the trigger with zero hesitation. The bullet went straight at the monster's head blowing it off in a single shot.
The young man took that chance, let go of the rifle and pushed himself off the ground with his right arm causing him to go a few feet up in the air.
In that moment-
*BOOM!* *BOOM!* *BOOM!* *BOOM!* *BOOM!*
The sound of explosions resounded from beneath him, removing the deep silence which radiated in the ruined city.
The man then landed, blinded by the pile of smoke formed from the explosion. He couldn't see them, but could feel them getting closer. They could also perfectly see his location. They were monsters after all.
They all charged at him, leaving him no other choice.
'Actively Analyse everything within 20 meter radius..'
'Analyzing… 5%'
5% of the area was analyzed so even with his eyes closed, he could feel every movement within 1 metre and that number would only continue to increase as more would be analysed
He didn't know how many there were, but he had to survive until the analysis was complete. His heart was now starting to be slightly more faster as he got more and more nervous.
It was loud, the sound of running and growls coming from every direction. He couldn't focus on his sight, so he closed his eyes.
The instant he did so, he ducked, barely avoiding a poison dart aimed straight at his neck. He then clicked his tongue before slashing leaping back.
Right after he did so, the ground where he was standing was hit by a strong impact which causing it to crack.
He did a back spin midair, landing on top of a random monster's head. Before it could open it's mouth and swallow his leg whole, he leapt off of it, leaving a grenade in it's mouth behind.
*BOOM!*
The leap sent him heading heading straight forward towards the monster who launched again another dart.
The poison was lethal, and the monster was smart for keeping it's distance. he had to deal with the more dangerous ones first.
'Analysis… 50% complete'
A smile was formed on his face, as even now with his eyes closed. He could see it. The structures, the lines, the shapes the monsters and even their status screens. What made it better was how he could see the trajectories of the dart and where they were being fired from, he also caught a glimpse the stats of the monster who was doing so.

He rotated his body mid air, allowing him to barely avoid the dart. However it was still able to graze his cheek.
You could never know what sort of shit they were using so even that could have been lethal. Despite that he continued with his attack. He landed straight onto the monster. It was small, as expected from a goblin.
"Say cheese~"
*Bang*
A single shot fired by a glock 17 formed out of thin air, right in the middle of it's head. Goblin's only had one heart. It wasn't gonna survive that.
Despite doing that, he kept on the move. Barely avoiding the attack from the other monster's as he weaved his body from side to side. He could read the attacks before they came.
As he found himself in the air again, right after dropping the grenades, he was suddenly hit by a strong pressure which sent him flying towards one of the nearby broken towers,
*CRASH!*
He crashed into it hyper pace, causing part of his body to have been submerged.
"ARGH!" He unintentionally let out before hanging his head.
"Stop." Said a voice which came from within the herd.
The herd suddenly, stopped. The young man watched with as a person, no, a being similar to that of a person, walked out of the herd. It was a kid, with two horns sticking out of his head. Short white hair which resembled the snow beneath and a neatly kept suit.
He slowly made his way towards the young man, giving him time to analyse his stats. And once only a part of it was analysed, his eyes widened.
It wasn't the first time, he had gotten such a result from his analysis. And he knew damn well what it meant.

The kid then suddenly disappeared off the young man's sight before appearing right beside him, with his head tilted towards the young man's ears.
"So you're the last one standing… I must say that is impressive…" The grown man muttered to himself "I've decided, from today on, you're my new pet." He added with a grin
He was around the same height and same size of the one who had been trying to survive, but their levels were completely different, that was the only explanation for the analysis having failed. In cases like these, fighting would be suicide. This wasn't a joke, they were in the middle of a war.
The smart thing to do would be to concede, that is… Until the young man remembered the faces of his friends and family who were killed by these beings in the war… He had also killed some of their kind, but it wasn't enough.
He was possessed by hatred and rage which fueled him and kept him alive throughout all these times.
'Why…?'
'Why?'
'Does the world hate us? Or was it god? Why did all those people have to die?'
"I wonder what I should call you~" Muttered the kid with an excited look
"Why…?" The young man asked as he formed a gun and pointed the nuzzle at the kid's head.
