Ray and his sister, Tina had only recently moved in to this area, but they were already rather familiar with it. They also knew the directions to the school, because despite it being their first day, they had already gone there a few times.
Their house was relatively close to the school, it was only a few minutes by walking. Even though they were alone most of the time, their family was well off, their parents would visit a few times a month and would send an allowance.
On top of that, they lived in a 2-story house, so as far as money was concerned, there weren't any problems and the school they are currently attending is a prestigious private one.
"We've arrived" Said Ray as he and his sister reached the school entrance
Other students could be seen entering, some with friends, others alone, just like anything you'd expect. Ray and Tina entered and were told to head to the assembly hall which was right outside the main school
They were given directions so that there wouldn't be any issues. The school in itself was big, 3 floors tall, they had a baseball court and an entire gym outside even though there weren't that many students.
There were around 80 students in total because not everyone could afford the tuition, however Ray didn't really seem to care about the number, he also didn't seem to care much about the entrance ceremony either, his mind was somewhere else
When Ray and Tina arrived at the assembly, they were split up according to year groups. And as everyone chattered amongst themselves in their own rows, the principal appeared
"Silence." He said loud and clearly through the microphone causing the room to become quiet. "I'm sure you are all very happy and excited that it's the first day of school, however, do not forget that you are now Senior High schoolers, you must work hard and learn how to behave so that you may live a nice and positive life"
He then continued on with his speech but again, ray didn't couldn't hear it, he had his mind somewhere else. It didn't take long for the ceremony to finish. Without getting to see his sister, Ray and his group were accompanied by teachers to their class.
As ray followed the teacher through the corridor, he noticed the mostly everyone around him was with a friend or knew each other, because he always moved around, he had to start again from scratch.
"Another start from zero..."
The teacher lead them up the stairs to the second floor, and through the halls before finally reaching a class called 1-B. As the students entered, the teacher said "I'll be your homeroom teacher, the seats you choose now will be the one you're stuck with for the rest of the year, so choose wisely"
Ray heard the teacher loud and clear, he had already decided from the moment he entered, where his seat would be. He walked over to one of the seats next to the window and sat there.
Most other students sat next to their friends or just wherever was still left. Meanwhile, Ray just sat on his own at the corner of the class by the window, but he didn't mind, he knew after introductions he'd be getting more attention, after all he was someone who travelled a lot. Those types of people always got attention on the first day.
"Let's start with introductions, Would anyone like to start?" Asked the homeroom teacher
No one replied, raising your hand would make you look like an attention seeker, at least that's what teenagers assumed, even though it was mostly untrue. Ray knew this so he stayed quiet and stared out of the window
"Just another boring day..."
The clouds were a dark colour, and it was raining heavily, then his eyes suddenly widened as he stared at the clouds. The clouds were spinning in a circular fashion in the sky, it looked like the inside of a tornado.
He blinked repeatedly, and rubbed his eyes with his hand and checked again,
[What is that?]
"You the one on the corner, it's your turn. What are you waiting for?" Asked The teacher as he looked at ray
Before ray even realised, it had already reached his turned. However, he was more surprised about how no one had realised what was happening outside with the clouds, Was he the only one that could see it? He thought
Without mentioning it, who got up and introduced himself "I'm Ray Radford, I changed states and moved in to this area recently with my sister, we travel a lot so there may be a few things we don't know since we just moved in so I'd appreciate any help." When he was done with the introduction, he sat down.
"He looks like a foreigner"
"He travels a lot so he much be wealthy"
"Doesn't he look pretty cute?"
While he stared out of the window, he could hear students talking about him, he felt a sense of accomplishment that introductions went smoothly.
"First impressions... turned out well." Ray muttered.
There were 15 students in the room, Ray was the last to introduce himself, so introductions were finished. The teacher was planning on moving on when all of the sudden
"U-Um... Sir..." Said one of the students by the window "What's that? He asked as he pointed outside
Ray who had taken his attention off the window, turned to see what the guy was talking about, in that moment, in that single moment, a small green creature, its shape was humanoid and it had the size of a child. It carried some sort of weapon passed by the window
"What?"
