As ray got the notification, he looked around the class. Everyone was surprised by the sudden fight and how he reacted, even his sister didn't expect it to go that way. He turned a one-sided beating into a win.
Then another message came over, and his status screen followed

Ray looked at his screen and confirmed his stat point, but he recalled hearing the system message say something about a hidden reward, but he couldn't find it anywhere
Then he noticed, near the corner of the stats there was a small box, with his curiosity, he could barely wait to see what was inside or open it, but before he could, he had to sort something out.
"Does it hurt?" Asked tina as tina as she poked where he got punched
Ray felt a sting when she poked him, but as far as pain went, he didn't feel any. While some students chattered amongst each other
"Good, but why get into such a pointless fight? Not to mention how you stopped us from intervening..." Asked tina
"That's because it wasn't pointless" Ray replied
For ray, that fight helped him learn many things, for one it showed him how stats worked, the number of strength will be the maximum number of damage you'll deal in a hit. However he still wasn't sure whether it was every hit or just clean ones
Another thing it showed him was how his analyse skill worked. The most essential thing about his skill was that it the analysis percentage only went up, when his opponent made a movement, meaning it can't passively analyse things. It analyses them based on what's shown.
And lastly, it showed him how lucky he was to receive this system. He was able to easily increase his strength just my thinking it. However, he knew that the stronger he'd get, the harder it'd become for him to get stronger, however that only made him think of his luck as something even greater for giving him a head start
So, Ray was the happiest he had been in a while
"next time be more careful. But I didn't know you could fight, usually I'd be the one to-"
Ray interrupted her before she could finish
"Ha-ha... Let's not live in the past" He said with a nervous smile
After dealing with a delinquent in front of everyone, the last thing he wanted was for everyone who watched to know that his sister would usually be the one to save him from fights
"pfft, I was joking, here"
Said tina as she chuckled while handing ray his lunch box. Surprised he looked over at her with the most grateful expression, today which was one of the worst days possible, he happened to forget to make lunch, luckily his sister came prepared
"When did you...? I feel spoiled..." Ray muttered
With a smile tina replied, "We spoil each other."
At the time, ray didn't get what she meant by that, as far as he could remember she was always the one spoiling him
Right when ray was about to ask what she meant by that, a student and a familiar teacher approached them.
"Um-"
The student seemed to want to say something, but before she could
"KYAAAAAAH!"
The sound of a girl screaming came from the hallway. Ray and some of the students who were on their feet, rushed to the classroom door to see what happened
What they saw, sent shivers down their spine. The girl who had screamed, was being eaten by one of the monsters.
The sight of blood being splattered everywhere caused Ray to feel nauseous couldn't understand how it was possible for them to even eat, their shapes were inhuman, they carried weapons and covered their bodies with cloth.
Even Tina who Ray knew that was strong-willed was trembling. From the moment they breached the 2nd floor, anyone could tell that the school was no longer safe
"Everyone follow me!" Shouted a teacher as he dashed out of the classroom
his shout caused the monsters attention to get drawn to them and it also started a panic, those who were still sane ran out of the class in a rush following behind him, while those were still in denial, stayed.
Why? How? These questions filled ray's mind as he followed behind with tina
There were 5, The one in the middle, had skin as red as the colour of blood and big muscular frame, it carried a club and did not look like something he could handle. It looked like it was around 3 meters tall
That other 4 had skin as green as a leaf and tall, thin frame. They looked slightly similar but were different, one had a bigger belly while another had a big head. You couldn't even tell what sort of face they were making because of how contorted it was. Just looking at their nightmarish appearance was enough to scare anyone.
The iron weapons that they carried only made them more intimidating. Ray and tina continued to follow behind the group. These monsters weren't that agile but they were slowly catching up.
They ignored the class room which still had people in denial and went straight for the group which ran out, which for ray, was very unfortunate.
While everyone was running as hard as they could, ray noticed that he had more stamina than usual and that he got faster, however not drastically compared to how he previously was.
"Keep running! We're reaching one of the emergencies exits!"
Right after he said that, on a turn someone fell, causing a few behind her to fall over like dominoes.
"W-Wait! H-Help!" Said the one of the guys who fell as he grabbed on to the leg of the guy who tried to run past beside him
"Let go!" The guy shouted as he kicked his arm away and continued to run
Since Ray and Tina were at the back of the line, they were able to avoid being tripped over like dominos
"WAIT! HELP US!"
However, no one, including the teacher, stopped to help them. Shortly after, the monsters caught up with those who fell. the cries of pain filling their ears, no one looked back.
