Chereads / An Analyser's System / Chapter 11 - Splitting Up.

Chapter 11 - Splitting Up.

Although the number of members on the group were now in the fifteens, that didn't make it any safer, right now, there was no actual need to be in a large group. Ray knew that staying would only cause him trouble and so did Tina.

They watched as the Ray and the other 3 reached the bottom. Ray looked around and was glad to see that there were no monsters nearby, they were at the side of the school building, and near the wall which surrounded the school

As the four students waited at the bottom, Ray tried thinking of what how he and tina would survive on their own, where would they go? They had breakfast a few hours ago so they weren't that hungry, and still had their lunch, but what would they do after it was finished?

There were stores nearby, but how would they get past the monsters? They could go home, but would they be able to safely make it? Ray was thinking about all of these things, he was squeezing his brain for an answer, but even if he couldn't find an answer right now. He knew that

"Anything would be better than being here"

The one who said that wasn't Ray but Alicia. Surprised Ray looked at Alicia and noticed that she was staring at the sky with her hand placed slightly over her face

She was completely soaked, her uniform was drenched and you could barely see through it if you tried hard enough, seeing this, ray felt bad and took off his blazer, leaving only his shirt on.

The girls' uniform was like the boys, A shirt, blazer and skirt, but Alicia didn't have her blazer on. Tina and Alicia's friend had theirs so Ray felt bad watching her get drenched, and he didn't mind the rain so he walked up to her

"Here"

He said as he stretched out his hand carrying his blazer

Alicia looked a ray with a confused expression and then seemed to realise something "you're that guy who beat up the delinquent"

"Yeah. More importantly, take this" Ray said

Alicia looked at the blazer and then looked at the sky.

"don't worry, I'm quite fond of the rain"

She seemed calmer than earlier, Ray noticed that even though she said that, she was still trembling because of the cold

"Alright, but..."

Ray looked away and pointed at her chest, confused, she looked down to see what he meant, and when she finally realised, she looked at him with a poker face as she said "Pervert..."

"You're the one without the blazer" He replied

She then stretched out her right hand, and covered her chest with her left indicating that she now wanted the blazer.

Tina watched with a smile as Ray handed her his blazer, without wasting time she put it on, although it didn't seem to make her that much warmer, it was better than nothing

At the same time, other students had now started to climb down, it didn't take long for the whole group to get down there

"It's the end of the world, as most of you can probably see, meaning our jobs as teachers are over and we are no longer responsible for you all. Me and sir over here, decided that we'll form a group to try to survive in this apocalypse, those who wish to join us, raise your hand. Those who don't you are on your own" Said one of the two teachers

"I-If we have an adult with us, we should be fine right?"

"And in situations like these, won't being in a group make things easier for us?"

"Y-Yeah, I'm raising my hand"

Everyone raised their hand, everyone except for Ray, Tina, Alicia and her friend

"Good, we have a bus in the parking lot, We'll need to find a way to get there safely. As for the four who didn't raise your hand, are you sure you'd like to go alone?" Asked the teacher

"Are they crazy?" asked one of the students

"Do they really think they can survive alone...?"

"Wasn't he the guy who suggested barricading the first floor...? I thought he'd be smarter than this..."

Ray was on the verge of losing his patience, the people he helped were too delusional.

"Yeah, we're sure sir, there are things we have to do, although there's no guarantee that we'll live if we all go together"

The last thing Ray wanted right now was to be travelling around with a big group, which is why he's been trying not to stand out this whole time. And if they all went their separate ways, he wouldn't feel responsible for anything that happens to them

This was his plan, the new problem would be surviving on his own with his sister, but with his newly received system, he knew he'd be able to manage

Although it was still raining monsters, it wasn't as much as earlier, and they were mainly focused on the inner part of the city.

"The same goes for us" Said Alicia

"Very well, make sure you 4 stay safe... Everyone, let's go." Said the teacher before heading off towards the parking lot with the students

"Alicia won't come with us?"

"What a waste..."

"Everything sucks..."

A few students complained as they all followed behind the teacher, After a curve, Ray and the other three lost sight of them

"Shall we go?" Ray asked

"Of course," Tina replied
