On top of a nearby mountain, Elihim climbed up a tree and stood on the tallest branch.
"Let's see. Can imaginative powers make me see farther and clearer?"
Normally, one would need to go through a lot of steps before they could even feel the flow of the imaginative power.
To reproduce the outcome of nature such as Puppeteering and Spirit or to apply one to another such as Reformer and Creator.
If an Imagi hopes to move water like a stream, they must feel every aspect in it to perfectly simulate the stream of water in their brain.
This can take weeks or even years depending on the complexity of such action and the Imagi's talent.
However, this is not a limit for Elihim. What he wants to reimagine is already an experience from past life.
With a spark within his brain, there were no formalities, no speeches, or even gestures to activate the so-called imaginative power.
Elihim's vision suddenly zoomed in. Not just that, his senses were keener than before...
"Hmph!"
A minute later, Elihim rubbed his tired eyes.
"As expected, this young body can't take it. From what I heard, these Advanced Reimagines could only work after much practice. And I still haven't got a glimpse of Heron."
Even though his eyes had pulsing nerves, Elihim didn't give up. If he still cannot use his Imagi powers to their extreme then he will use other abilities.
"Using it one time shouldn't be that bad, right? I hope it doesn't affect the archive."
After that mutter, Elihim breathed in and called the system.
"Law Proposal"
"If I, Kaen Elihim Enova, looked through the circle which my index and thumb created, my sight will increase its efficiency by one hundred to five hundred percent, depending on the angle my forearm is positioned."
[Law Proposal considered. Incomplete information. Exchange needed.]
Elihim then looked through the circle his index and thumb created and positioned his forearm vertically.
"Perpendicular to the ground is one hundred percent increase in efficiency." he then raised his elbow and continued, "Parallel to the ground is five hundred percent increase in efficiency."
[Law Proposal considered. Exchange needed.]
"Each hundred percent increase in my sight's efficiency in the period of one minute decreases two percent of my stamina.]
[Equal exchange. Exchange accepted. Law Proposal accepted. Law has been established.]
"Good" Elihim smiled as he made Law creation seemed easy.
With his stamina continuously recovering due to his cultivation of Soul Searching, which is the first stage of Soul Cultivation, the exchange is practically non-existent.
From now on, every time Elihim repeated that action, his sight would increase in efficiency.
Elihim didn't pause to rest. He immediately put the Law into use and looked around. The reason why he chose sight instead of hearing or smell was because the forest there were not so thick.
'Brius went to our house after waking up to see Heron gone. This is only a speculation but if Heron is the one who instigated the drinking which should be the case due to last night's incident, he should be the one who drank more.'
'By this logic, it is very unusual for him to wake up first. Heron waking up first or... both of them waking up at the same time which is highly plausible. With Brius still not sober, he failed to see Heron.'
'Furthermore, Brius should've known this too. He should've gone out to search alone instead of wasting time to get to the house if Heron is still. But why did he went to our house?'
"It's because he saw Heron coming to the direction that will lead him to our house. But if Brius is still drunk then so is Heron. The reason why Brius didn't say it to Lyssa is because Heron disappeared from his sight that he thought he was just hallucinating."
"In short, Heron then tried to get home but got lost. Brius, not trusting his sight, went to us for help... and there he is, my useless father."
Elihim then spotted Heron on the ground with an injury...
"Shit! Shit! Why is this happening to me!?" Heron cried as he tried to crawl his way up to the road but with his injured state, he failed and came rolling down again.
He was not that far from Brius' house but not near enough for anyone to hear his curses.
"Ah... I want to die... Elihim, why would you do this to me? I gave all my hope to you but then you betrayed them all... Do you want me to regret the day I took you in?"
Heron's vision was fading into darkness.
"I... want to rot here..." when he was about to completely fall unconsciousness, he heard a familiar child's voice.
"...Why don't you start relying on yourself, Father?.."
A comfortable feeling entered Heron's body, healing him. He could no feel anything except that and the voice entering his ears.
"... Mother cried herself to sleep last night... She wanted to say a lot of things but she couldn't."
"Why don't you stop and listen, Father?"
"Mother doesn't hate you..."
'Really..? I wish that's true.'
"It is"
'But I have done and said terrible things to her, assuming that she hates me.'
"She can definitely forgive you."
'I... I hope.'
"Will you try to let her talk?"
'I will... I will'
Zzzzz.....
Elihim looked left and right with an unsightly expression.
'Why is the headache too early today!? Unbelievable! Do I endure the Heron's weight on my back and the pain in my head while trying to archive and still giving advices?'
"Wait, he's already asleep! I should begin now! I'm at my limit! If my headache finished before I succeed, I will seriously die!"
Walking on the grassy road, surrounded by green trees and leaves dancing in the wind, Elihim carried his father in this life.
Rays of sunlight subtly entered through the gaps. Even though Elihim seemed to be panicking earlier, he had a calm face.
When he was about to reach their home, he opened his eyes and said, his face filled with beads of sweat.
"Success..." he then dropped his father on the ground and pointed, "And what do you mean regret the day you took me in. You mean I'm adopted? If that's true then my Karma isn't that much tied to all of you. You used my Karma then suffered when you got affected when it falls to negative... haysss."
Suddenly, Elihim felt conflicted. However, he chose to worry about that later as Lyssa and Brius were about to come back.
