All four of them were now standing on the platform of the Nara railway station.
The train they had arrived in, had just left. Nara was a peaceful town with not many citizens.
It was known for its New Year festival which was celebrated so grandly, that people from all around the world visited Nara during the New Year.
All four of them were extremely astonished at the view they saw in front of them.
It was late 8 PM in the night and the town was still bustling with people.
The town had been beautifully decorated by the citizens of Nara.
The town had been decorated with a lot of flashy lights here and there. The town looked like a paradise on earth.
They got out of the railway station and then headed into the town.
Simon told them that he was quite familiar with the place.
So he led them to an inn in the middle of the town.
According to him the windows in the inn showed such a wonderful view that they could watch the fireworks from afar, even if there was a huge crowd.
The trio believed him and thus were led to a beautiful inn. The innkeeper welcomed them with respect.
She was dressed in her traditional kimono. She then lead them to their respective room.
After a while she informed them that the bath was ready and asked them to follow behind her.
They were then led to a hot spring. They didn't expect the inn to have a hot spring.
It was a mixed bath and since the inn had a lot of visitors, the inn keeper asked them all to bath together.
Kayden tried to refuse at first but when there was no response from the girls, he looked around to ask their opinion.
However he hadn't expected this kind of reaction from them.
They just showed a shy face and nothing else.
Not even a reply came from their side.
Where they fine with that? Seriously? Simon and Kayden then headed to the men's changing room.
They removed their clothes and kept them at the locker and wrapped a towel around their lower half and then headed to the hot spring to have a bath.
"Looks like the girls haven't arrived yet. Let's take a quick bath and then head out before they come," said Kayden.
Simon agreed. But this wasn't what god had planned for Kayden.
As soon as he said so, the girls stepped out of the changing room, wrapped their body in towels.
They had a slight shy feeling in them.
But they unhesitantly moved forward.
When he heard the footsteps nearing the hot spring, Kayden turned around.
When he looked at the girls he had a heavy nosebleed and in this way he lost his consciousness and then was about to drown in the hot spring when he was held and waken up by Simon.
The rest of the bath went through extreme silence.
Kayden didn't dare to turn around and look at the girls and neither did Simon.
The girls had a peaceful bath too. After the bath they all changed into fresh clothes and then headed to their room.
After waiting for a while, the inn keeper arrived with two maids.
The maids were carrying dinner.
The maids placed the dinner in front of them and then left from there.
The inn keeper bowed to them and followed the maids out.
They had a sumptuous meal and then after drinking a sip of water, they all prepared to go to sleep.
But this was different from the dormitory rooms.
Here they had to sleep on the floor which Ava and Emily felt uncomfortable and hence they asked Kayden to sleep beside them to give them some comfort.
And thus Kayden ended up sleeping in between the two of them.
Simon was really jealous but he couldn't complain as Kayden was his best friend and this was his first time too.
And the reason as for why he was single till now was because he was incompetent.
He couldn't do anything about that but to feel jealous, looking at other couples.
And hence he decided to spend his rest of the time in Nara by becoming jealous of the couples around him.
They all had a good night's sleep. They all wished for the next day to be peaceful and joyful.
But even they hadn't imagined about what would happen to them on the next day.
The next day, they all woke up early in the morning. That day was the New Year festival.
They all got up early in the morning and had refreshing baths.
The boys wore the yukatas and the girls wore the new kimonos provided by the inn keeper.
They thanked the inn keeper for the clothes and then headed out.
The streets were bustling with people all around. The market was filled with new stalls all around.
There were food stalls, games and some other stalls.
The boys wanted to have some food whereas the girls wanted to get some accessories.
So they decided to separate ways and then meet at the same point after completing their shopping.
Ava had gifted each of them with a thousand dollars.
They all wanted to have a lot of fun. So they separated ways and went ahead to fulfil their desires.
The boys checked out various food stalls.
They bought noodles and many other stuff. After an hour worth of food shopping, they headed for the games.
There were various games waiting for them. They started with shooting games and then continued with various other games.
About another hour later, they had satisfied their desires and hence decided to return to meeting point.
But what they later came to know was that the girls had not returned yet.
