After everything had calmed down, they were about to exit when they heard some noise.
They turned around to look what had happened. They were shocked by what they saw. It was the beggar.
But he didn't look like a human now.
"What are you? Are you an enemy too?" asked Kayden.
"I'm a ghost and I'm not an enemy. I just wanted to thank you," the beggar's ghost replied.
"A ghost? Really?" Simon said as he fainted due to fear.
"Why do you want to thank me?" Kayden asked the ghost.
"The gang which lived here had sacrificed many girls to obtain that power. And one of them was my daughter. When I tried to stop them, they killed me too," the ghost replied.
Kayden and the girls were terrified by the ghost's answer.
Kayden, at first had felt bad for killing a human, but after hearing the ghost's answer he felt that he had done the right thing by doing so.
After thanking him, the ghost vanished from there. Then they all returned from the mist forest.
"Sigh, it's a pity. I wanted to spend some time alone with you two. But now it seems that we can't do it now," Kayden was sad.
Emily and Ava were surprised by Kayden's words. He wanted to spend some time with them alone?
They were very happy when they heard him say so.
"If that's all you wish for, then let's go," said Emily.
"To where?" asked Kayden.
"To celebrate the New Year festival. It isn't over yet," Ava replied.
They then happily headed to the festival. They let Simon rest on a chair and then headed out to have fun.
When Simon woke up, he found himself in the festival. But there was no sign of his friends.
He had brought a camera along to take some pictures with his friends.
But now there was no sign of his friends. He searched around the festival for his friends.
He found them having fun at the food stall. They were looking so happy together.
He didn't want to become the fourth wheel between them.
So he decided to lay low and take some memorable pictures of the happy trio.
The trio who didn't know of his presence around them spent the day happily. They ate lots of food, had fun playing games and did many more stuff.
Later they headed back to the place where they had left Simon.
When Simon realized that they were heading to the place where they had left him, he went ahead of him and sat down on the chair they had left him on.
When the trio reached there they saw Simon eating some sushi.
"Hey dude, how was your day?" Simon asked.
"Simon, you are awake. Then why didn't you come to celebrate with us?" Kayden asked him.
"That's because I didn't want to spoil your little date," Simon replied.
"You are such a good friend," Kayden said happily as he put his hand across Simon's shoulder, "Come on, now. The fireworks are going to start anytime soon. We have to get to the inn before that."
Then they headed to the inn where the inn keeper welcomed them.
They asked her to arrange for some food and drinks.
The inn keeper agreed to their request and told them that the food and drinks would be delivered to them soon.
They then headed to their room and sat at the table waiting for the fireworks to get started.
Soon their order was delivered by the inn keeper to their room.
They enjoyed the fireworks while drinking and having some food.
After a lot of fighting and hero stuff, they could finally sit together and have some fun together.
They could finally enjoy the date they had planned for a few days. It was such a good experience for the three of them.
These were going to be their first memorable moments in their lives together. After the fireworks ended, everyone changed back to their normal clothes.
It was almost night time by then. So they went to sleep.
The next morning they woke up early in the morning. They had to leave early in order to catch the train.
They all had made such wonderful memories here. So initially they were a bit reluctant at first. But they could not stay here permanently either.
Because their holidays were going to end the next day. So they had to return to the Mutant Hero Academy.
They returned to the academy in the early morning train. They were all feeling sleepy on their way back to the academy as they had not slept much, the previous day.
The situation now was the same as the one they had faced on their way to Nara.
But this time, all four of them had fallen asleep.
When they got out of the train in New York, they saw a man in black suit waiting for them.
It turned out to be Mr Blake's assistant. Mr Blake had sent his assistant to pick us up from the railway station. They then got into the car and headed back to the academy.
The assistant dropped them at the dormitory.
When they knocked on the door, the door was opened and a huge crowd rushed out to greet them and ask them about the festival.
"Guys, we just returned. Can we take a rest first? We will tell you everything later?" asked Simon.
However, the kids chose to keep the news about the gang in Nara, a secret.
A secret that they wanted to forget.
A secret that they didn't want to share with anyone as it would only bring them problems.
They went to their rooms and took some rest. And waited for the next day to welcome them to a whole new life.
