Chapter 7 - Mother and Brother

"Wait for me Harvey!" screamed 5 year-old  Alondra to her 11 year old brother.

"I told you to call me Your Highness!" replied Harvey.

"But dad said-"

"I don't care what dad said, can you please just shut up!"

Her brother had always been like that but that was her earliest memory of him being mean to her which was one of the light arguments compared to all the kicks, bites, pushing and meanful words that caused her many of her mental illnesses she had now. But little Alondra went off crying and she never told her father about her brother's cruelty because she was always seen as little daddy's girl and she had enough. Maybe if she stayed quiet then it was a way of standing up for herself.

All eyes were on her, maybe if Anahita and Creed changed then maybe Harvey changed too. She was enjoying her little dream. She was finally happy since her fathers death and finally someone's love was sincere and true.

"Hello Alondra, how did you wake up?" Harvey said as he ran up towards her sister and picked her up.

"You never sit with us in the dining hall so why do now?" said Alondra, her brother was always in his room or workplace.

"Wow there Alondrita I think someone had a bad dream, I always sit in the dining room unless I stay up late doing work you silly little brat!" he said as he began tickling Alondra.

"Bahahhaahhhhaaaa stoppppp it Harvey!" He had begun tickling her, and these were some intense tickles. Although she said stop she never wanted the feeling of love from her brother to end.

"Harvey put your sister down!" That voice was from the woman who had given birth to Alondra, it was her mother but in the non-Fabian the Feared's wish world her mother had left with her new boyfriend that was her age and she refused to have any contact with her or Harvey or even her grandson Creed. Although she had given birth to them and watched them grow she never showed them love and always treated them like strangers. But her voice sounded warm although she knew that voice had also body shamed her, made her feel worthless and made her feel useless.

"Ouch don't do it so tight!" screamed Alondra in her memory, as she gasped for air. One of her mothers 'helpers' was tightening her corset as her mother watched while holding her cigarette.

"Well if you weren't so fat we didn't have to put a corset on." said her mother she took another blow of her cigarette. Until she was feeling dizzy her mother ordered her helper to stop although she was in the ripe age of 14 her mother wanted her to be perfect putting her crazy diets and the hurtful corsets.Later that day Alondra fainted because of the little air she could take in because of the corset. That was one of the examples that her mother had body shamed her and led her to have more health issues later on. Although all of that she loved her mother with all her might her mother never loved her. She looked up….

"Mom….." tears started to well up in her eyes.

"Good morning dear!" She said, giving her a kiss on her forehead. "Well enough goofiness and sit down you two, we need to show respect to the cooks and helpers for the amazing meal they are about to bring!"

'Yes mom," they said in unison. I both ran to their seats.

Once they began eating her mother said "What are the plans for today Rodrick?" out of the staircase came out Rodrick, Alondra's heart began to beat faster Rodrick was her age and was brought to the castle to be one of his brothers companions and helpers but he ended up becoming Harvey's best friend and she had fallen for him since they were 10 but he had always took interest in her cousin Cassandra who was 1 year younger than them but she always felt like Cassanbdra always better than her in anything. Looks, smarts, personality although they were similar she would never get to Cassandra's perfectness. Alondra had always been Richards best friend as well and they would often eat together when no one else wanted to eat with Alondra, they were absolutely inseparable and could tell each other everything but he would always have her as second option and would give her away for Cassandra .Yet her heart decided to fall for Rodrick and in the non-Feared wish world he would have helped plan Alondras wedding and didn't mind her leaving, and there were some speculations that him and Cassandra would get married.

"Hello King Harvey, Queen Anahita, Prince Creed, Duchess Alondra and former queen Xaria. I hope you had a pleasant night's sleep. May I announce today's activities for each member of the royal family."

"You may " said Harvey. He then began giving the whole list while the family ate breakfast then it was Creed and Alondras turn. She almost got the duty of talking to people outside the family like residents of the kingdom and nobles afterall she was the best at communication.

"Alondra and Creed today you will begin your day by getting the spring festival games ready by picking out the best games then you will head on to the west side of the Buho Library to meet your new magic teacher whose mission is to give you enough education for you to become mages." wow magic…. She had only read it in books but now she thought it would be helpful to fight any monsters that would come her way like Fabian. "Then you will eat lunch her and finally Creed will complete his classes and assignments and you Alondra will meet up with me so you can meet up with someone.

"Thank you again Rodrick" said Harvey as Rodrick left.

"It has been my pleasure Your Majesty"

Once all the family had finished their meals they all headed to their first duty of the day. Alondra and her nephew headed down to their personal workplace where they knew a lot of paperwork was waiting for them every day.

As she sat down she couldn't help but smirk, she was supposed to be over Rodrick but she was just too 'over the moon' for him, she was really liking the alternate world Mr.Feared had created and she wished it would never end. Maybe in this world Rodrick and her were together and he wouldn't have approved her marriage to the Emperor Diritas.

"What's going on with you? I haven't seen that type of smile in a while" said her little nephew.

"Hahaha it's nothing Creed."

Creed and Alondra discussed some games and completed some paperwork that was assigned to them until the time came to go to the Búho Library where little did she know that the most unexpected was about to happen.
