13 year old Alondra was sitting in her bedroom knitting a cardigan she was planning on giving Rodrick, her crush, even thinking about him made butterflies in her stomach and her throat feel some kind of way. She was interrupted by a knock on her door, she soon hid the unfinished cardigan under her bed in a compartment where she hid the most valuable object away from everyone.
"Enter" she said while she brushed off her dress.
"Hello princess Alondra '' it was those chocolate brown eyes she adored in Rodrick that she fantasized could have the finest chocolate of the world.
"Good afternoon Rodrick! Please take a seat!" She said pointing towards the reading spot she had made for special guests and a place to relax and doze off to a fascinating world hidden in a book.
"How have you been?" He said taking a seat on a blue cushion and according to his words 'his special throne'.
"I have been splendid, if i'm being honest, how are you?" she said, taking a seat on her own favorite green cushion.
"I'm doing okay i guess, let's get straight to the point. I need your advice."
"Okay i'm listening…" what could be so important to say so abruptly. Millions of scenarios popped up in her head and her favorite was of a possible love confession.
" I like a girl but I'm not sure if she likes me back, I feel like she likes another and I feel like she would never see me as a love interest. I know it isn't proper for me to come with my problems to you but you are my best fiend who i trust the most and the one who could give me love advice"
Her heart rate tripled and her chest felt a light pan. "You…..Like someone?
"Yes, please don't laugh"
"Don't worry," she said, offering her pink that was quickly anchored by Rodricks pink "like someone but tell me who she is? I might be able to help you even more if i know her "
"I...….. like Cassandra '' her heart plopped as she saw that it was obvious by his red face he meant that.
"Oh…...well I think she doesn't like anyone at the moment and I would love to….." she didn't believe the words that would escape her lips.
"Love to what?
"Help you make her fall in love with you…" she mentally sighed at her dumb and stupid little mind but she very well perfer to be third wheeler instead of being a nobody in his life. She said below her breath "But i'm sure it won't be hard for me to make her like you"
"Thank you Alondra ! You are the best!" he said, holding her tightly into a hug. "If they were only going to be friends why did he have to like her if he knew she would catch feelings.
"No problem! I can do anything for you." It broke her heart when her name escaped his lips pronouncing it with pleasure, she had loved him from the start.
"I already told you who i like now it's your turn, i promise i won't tell!" he said with a smile as wide as a whale. It isn't fair.
"It's no one, I'm sure he likes another girl… he told me." she said, she had no one else to turn to other than him. Her tears began to roll down her cheeks but their warmth was the only she had.
"He sure is missing out, that moron how can he not see that you are a beauty of you?" he said as she caressed her cheek with her hand wiping up her tears.
"The girl he likes is beautiful and i could never compete" Cassandra was absolutely beautiful and she would never dare to compare herself to her because she was way better than her.
"I'm sure you would win no matter what, now listen to me! Never give up on him because you are a beautiful princess that any man would kill to have you" expecept for him.
"Thank you Rodrick…." I love you.
"Now tell me, how can I repay the favor you made me?" Maybe with a kiss.
"Carrot cake"
"I swear this is becoming an addiction, but I will do anything so I can see that pretty face without tears.." he got up and left. How can you feel in love but at the same time you feel defeated and heartbroken. She got a similar feeling when Harvey wanted to talk about Rodrick and the womanizer. She knew well he wasn't a womanizer he had always been a gentleman and a great friend.
"I didn't think we needed to have this talk again..."
"What talk?"
"Oh yea I forgot you were drunk when we had our last talk about this!"
"What are you talking about Harvey?"
"I'm talking about Rodrick being a womanizer, we both know very well that it's is true, he goes off and breaks everyone's heart although he is Cassandra's fiancé," her heart was smashed once more, she enjoyed that her family was alive and loved her and she got the opportunity in Fabians world but she couldn't stand hearing about him being with every woman at least he would only be with Cassandra."I know you love him but you need to resist any flirting he attempts to make because I don't want you getting hurt, I promised dad I would get the kindest, handsomest and richest man to marry you but Rodrick doesn't fit in any of them"
She felt her nose begin to tingle and burn and the tears began to flow.
""Please don't cry, but I believe we have established that we shouldn't defend Rodrick on being a womanizer, correct? I hope you remember how he quickly replaced you at 13 for Cassandra. You two were dating but he still dumped you and went running to Cassandra" she didn't remember but this was a different dimension.
"Yes I remember" how could he be so reckless?
"You are excused, your breakfast will be in your room and your work will be there too, I hope you turn it in by 8pm so the decisions could be passed by the advisers early in the morning."
"Yes brother" she said as she left the room with mixed emotions, how could you be so sad although you never dated? She was tired of always being behind Rodrick, it was time to get over him because she wasn't going 21 forever.
But before getting over him she was going to get her sweet revenge.
