Once the first few stages of planning and the design of his first weapon had been completed, Thomas waved his hand and covered himself and all his equipment with a cloud of anima energy. This was just a security measure to guarantee no one will know of his secrets.

The last big step was the act of condensing and completing the final product. This is the most crucial and the last phase in the process.
It was also as this step he would have to need the animanium. Since this one material can't be melted, he would have to place it in the middle of the melted materials and condense the weapon around it with the help of his energy.
Once it was finished, all he would need to do it's to the polishing. If he wanted to make an artifact it was the only moment he would have to carve its inscriptions.
However, this last part was not in his plans yet. Forging an artifact required an extremely resilient soul and lots of time. It wasn't something to be done on his first try.
With a wave of his hand, Thomas took out a black stone the size of an arm. 'This is an ordinary piece of Pliatine, also known as Black Iron. As an resource only found on mars, Prometheus had used it as the main material for the most of his creations. Due to humanity not being able to understand its true uses, its price was kept low otherwise it would be hard to get my hands even a thin piece.'

Thomas placed the piece of black iron onto the furnace. The flames in the furnace's core suddenly grew hungry and consumed the whole piece of Pliatine.
Without even moving, Thomas eyes turned to orange as he activated a part of his sunlight demon power and used it to maintain the right amount of heat to the flame.

Since he didn't plan to using any more materials than the black iron, he swiftly used his energy to separate the impurities of the melted iron.
As he spoke, the arm-sized black iron had been nearly fully melted into a pool of jet-black liquid.
'Every material has a different density and the temperature required to melt it may always vary. There is a little over 30% of impurities left, though it is a pretty good result considering this is my first try.'
Once it was done, he then took all the liquid metal to the mold he made previously and formed a layer of energy between the metal and the mold so he could have a better control of the melted iron.

Thomas' eyes narrowed slightly as he concentrated on the task. A small green stone floated towards the black liquid. As he infused threads of anima energy onto the Vitality-attribute animanium, the stone shed its former look to completely transform into a bright finger-sized deep green jewel as he mixed it with the pure Pliatine.
A wave of anima energy pulsated out from Thomas' body as the entire temperature in the warehouse rapidly decreased.
Thomas could clearly sense his energy flowing to the melted iron as it slowly took form. Fast and slow, it was strong and then gentle. He kept infusing his energy into the black iron and the piece of animanium immersed inside it as they slowly solidified. It did this series of transformations for a little over five minutes before finally coming to a stabilized form.
Bang!!
Thomas removed the energy surrounding the mold and a wave of heat soon followed. Despite being momentarily blinded, he waved his hand and a black light shone amidst all the dust and heat.
Once the dust settled, a jet black-saber resting on top of his hand. As his eyes rested on it, he couldn't happen but find his creation beautiful.
