Chapter 52 - He's a tyrant.

Same day, a little after 1:00 pm.

Marline's dining hall was packed with employees who hadn't had time to pack a lunch box, who hadn't felt like going out to eat in the cold outside, or who had preferred to enjoy a quick but delicious meal without having to worry about what to cook or what the weather would be like outside.

Sometimes it was laziness that led employees to use their badges to pick up a tray, before following a rail, like the cars on a commuter train; making short, regular stops at several locations.

Ladies and gentlemen, we are currently at the Salads stop. Next stop: Main Courses. Make sure you've badged before you pick up your tray, or you'll be held accountable for it.

It was always a steady stream of employees, men and women of all ages, passing by; while others had already finished eating, and were completing the last stops in the line called "Company Restaurant". Final destination? Tray disposal and back to work.
