The end of the day came quickly, as employees began to leave their desks and head home, hurrying to the elevators. Most Departments had already finished their work and were slowly emptying out, but it looked like the Natural Disaster Department would be working overtime again tonight.
A good number of contracts had arrived, signed by all employees of the same travel company, and although all the administrative work would continue for the rest of the week, not everyone was equal when it came to the workload.
In particular, the Financial Section was overwhelmed with accounting for old and new contracts, as well as issuing documentation for new clients detailing the monthly payments that would be made.
However, once 8:00 p.m. arrived, the two Section Heads had decided to call it a day, informing all employees that they could go home.
