Brian paced around his room wondering how he was going to ask Arielle to give him water she used to wash her panties it was the most awkward thing to ask anyone and to top it off he's a wolf who has been ignoring him. They have been at loggerheads with each other lately.
Then suddenly an idea came to him...all he needed now was to communicate with Arielle.
"Where did I keep that paper" he soliloquizes.
He looked around for a while before remembering he threw it into the trash can. He went and retrieved it thankfully the trash had not been emptied. He picked it up and dialed the number...It rang for a while before she answered.
"Hello...It's Brian speaking"
"Mate...What a pleasant surprise...What don't tell me you're already missing me."
"(signs)can you come over or should I...?" Brian asked. Arielle was surprised by the request but she immediately concord.
"Be there in a jiffy" she answered excitedly. It took Arielle not less than two minutes to get to moon park territory and like a thief, she climbed up the house to Bran's open window. Brian already settled on a chair opposite the window.
"I have to ask, how did you get here so fast," Brian asked he couldn't comprehend her godly speed.
"Am just really light on my feet" she answered carefreely. Arielle walked over to him and sat on the chair he prepared for her she wanted to sit on his laps but refrained from doing so cause they weren't that close yet and she was already tired of being the first to make a move.
"How are you," Brian asked. Arielle tried to read his expression and she knew immediately that Brian was faking...something was wrong with him.
She decided not to play along.
"Just cut through the chase Brian you are never this nice to me unless you have forgotten about your past and you're...(pause) parents," Arielle said she was trying to provoke him because she didn't want to dive into his mind.
Brian's mood instantly turned sour but he was on a mission and if he succeeded he might never have to worry about seeing her anymore. "I am trying to make this work" he lied.
"In moon park, the Alpha is supposed to perform a sacred ceremony after finding his mate" he resumed.
Arielle felt something was wrong but refrained from speaking even Energìa knew something was not right, Jerry was not communicating with her...he was hiding that was a sign that he didn't approve of what was happening. But neither the less Arielle knew Brian won't do anything to hurt her.
"For seven days I will I will need you to give me water used to wash your underwear" Brian stated he looked into Arielle's eyes to see her reaction but her dull yellow eyes weren't saying anything they were somewhat compassionate.
"Was she pitying him?" he asked himself. And the fact that he had ulterior motives made him feel guilty but this was a necessary evil and her silence was deafening, she didn't alter a single word.
"sure!! I would personally deliver it to you" She chanted.
"Really??? umm let me explain why," Brian said he didn't expect it to be so simple yet it was. The weight of guilt started dawning on him he's mate trusted him blindly, surely she didn't deserve a jerk like him.
"Not necessary...mmmm Brian I have to go something came up and if you must know I trust you with my life I know you wouldn't do anything to harm me", Arielle said and winked at Brian before rising from her seat. She just remembered Maria Clara asking to meet her urgently.
But the funny thing was that she just saw a premonition that the trio was waiting in her cave. So she needed to go Brian had a confused look on his face he didn't expect her to be so trusting even after how he treated her surely this girl was kind-hearted and foolish.
She bent over and gave Brian a peck on his cheeks that immediately sent shock waves through their systems and then she left before he could alter a word.
-ARIELLE'S CAVE -
" What's so urgent that couldn't wait," Arielle asked immediately she entered the cave. "I was in the middle of something when I got a premonition of you girls waiting here" she berated.
"I guess you got my message" Maria Emilia chimed.
"The premonition was sent by you?" Arielle asked in awe.
"Yup it's like a call just without using a phone" Maria Emilia analyzed excitedly she was the type to easily get carried away.
"Oh, enough of the talking I need to warn you, Arielle" Maria Clara started.
"What is it," Arielle asked with suspicion.
The face Maria Clara was making gave her cause for concern.
"I had a vision...your mate is going to drug you with wolfbane on Saturday "
"Do you know why?" Arielle asked with a grim.
"No just wanted to warn you"
"Thanks for the heads up, but my wolf is immune to wolfbane" That being said Arielle proceeded to leave the cave but then she halted at the mouth of the cave.
"Don't come to the park without informing me...werewolves will pick your odd smell even with your masked scent," she warned then Stormed out of the cave.
